Some of these make me want to cry happy tears!!

BuzzFeed Community members recently shared their most memorable celebrity encounter stories and gave us the scoop on which celebs were exceptionally nice, and which ones were unfortunately rude. The comments quickly filled with stories of even more interesting celeb interactions. Here are some that stood out:

Note: These stories are personal testimonies submitted by readers and therefore cannot be verified one way or another.

    1. "Khloe Kardashian was unbelievably kind, patient, and fun! Back when she was still with Tristan and he played in Cleveland, she came into the restaurant I was at. They were filming for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, so everyone tried to be chill. As soon as the cameras went down and she got up, I made my move. I was like, 'I’m so sorry, but could I get a picture?' and she was like, 'Oh my god, of course!' We chatted for a bit, and while she was taking a picture with my friend, I HAD TO say, 'You’re doing amazing sweetie,' and she actually cracked up. She ended up staying there for like 15+ minutes taking pictures and meeting people. She was truly lovely and very beautiful!"

    2. "I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Henry Cavill on a number of different occasions, and he was welcoming, charming, kind, gentlemanly, attentive, and very friendly every single time. He is the loveliest man I’ve ever met, inside and out! He is very intelligent and easy to talk to as well. I adore him! He’s very genuine, good-natured, and humble."

    3. "I walked by Camila Cabello after a Shawn Mendes concert and told her to have a good night (I am venue staff), and she completely disregarded me as a human. I’ve had a bad taste about her ever since."

    4. "Andrew Garfield was absolutely lovely. I'd waited for hours at The Amazing Spider-Man 2 premiere and had been pushed aside by the crowd. A girl at the front pointed to me and told him I'd been waiting, and he made sure I came to the front. He signed a book of artwork for me and we chatted away."

    5. "Tom Felton was a regular in my bar for a few years in the early 2010s and is a freaking GEM of a human!!! SOOOOOOOOOO SWEET! He remembered my name every time he came in and was always sweet with his fans. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful man!"

"I met Tom Felton at a ComicCon a few years back, and he is an absolute gem! The line was super long, but he was absolutely wonderful with spending time and taking photos with everyone. My daughter was about 1 1/2 at the time and had fallen asleep in her stroller, and Tom took my phone and took a picture of her, telling me how cute she was. We now refer to it as the 'Tom Felton phone.'"

    6. "LL Cool J is perhaps the nicest person I have ever met in my entire life. I was eating dinner when I noticed him at the table next to me, and as a joke, my friend and I sent over a glass of wine. He proceed to come over and hug us, and we all ended up talking for 10 minutes. I embarrassingly told him I loved him on lip sync battle and he seemed so genuinely happy about it! I'm now the biggest LL Cool J fan just because of how normal and nice the dude was."

    9. "My brother was staying at a hotel in New York and got on the elevator. He said the guy on there looked familiar to him, but he couldn't place him. So, he said hello and the guy said hello back to him. Then, he asked if they had met because he looked familiar to him. The man said he didn't think they had met and smiled at him. When they got to the ground floor, the doors opened to a mass of screaming fans. My brother said, 'It must be for you because I know it's not for me.' Again, the guy laughed. It was Bruce Springsteen."

    11. "When I was a kid, I was staying at a hotel in NYC and saw Peyton Manning. I asked him for an autograph and asked if he was Peyton Manning. He said, 'If I wasn't, would you still want my autograph?" I said sure, and he signed it. That night, my cousin, who is a huge football fan, was starstruck when he saw Peyton standing in front of him. Peyton gestured his hand and said, 'How are you doing, little buddy?' My cousin didn't know what to say. Once the elevator opened, he told my cousin he could come into the elevator with him, and my whole family joined him. I haven't seen my cousin so shocked in his life."

    12. "I met Trevor Noah and Eddie Izzard after a comedy show at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe. My sister-in-law and I had gone to the loo after the show, and got turned around in the venue. By the time we found our way out, everyone was gone and Eddie and Trevor were just leaving. My SIL went up and asked for a photo; she was turned down because they’d just flown in and thought they looked awful, but they were happy to shake hands and sign autographs. Genuinely lovely, even when I blurted out something about how they were brilliant, and turned bright red. They probably thought we were crazed fans hiding out to meet them, but they were still so polite and kind."

    13. "At a studio in Newham, I was walking in a corridor when I spotted Jason Statham coming from the other end. He noticed my gawking and nodded with a polite smile. I tried to do the same, but he'd already gone past me. I told a fellow trainee that I'd just seen Statham. He said he was in a lift with him days earlier. He was too timid to tell him he loved his films. When the lift door opened, Statham stepped back to make room for him to leave, but the trainee said he wanted to get off at the one above. This gave him the guts to tell him that he loved his films. He thanked him and asked which he enjoyed most, then they made small talk. He came across as humble and funny. After that, Statham made a friendly nod at him when they spotted each other during our time there. I've since heard that he's like this with everyone, whether on set or not. I reckon this makes him a pretty nice celebrity."

    14. "Henry Winkler is so kind and polite. I met him through a woman my father was dating. We went to a taping of a celebrity game show that had Mario Lopez and Kathy Griffin, amongst others. I was sick, but obviously still went. He made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. My father's girlfriend later told me he was asking how I was doing since I had been sick that day."

    16. "This happened in the '90s when I was really little. My mom took me to a Kenny Loggins concert and we got to meet him after. He was so nice! My favorite memory of that night was when I told him he didn't sing my favorite song of his, 'Return to Pooh Corner,' and he said he would have sung it just for me if he'd known."

    17. "I met and got the very last photo op with Stan Lee at DragonCon the year before he passed. He was technically done with the pictures, but because of a mix-up with another celebrity, we paid a little more to get to meet Stan. His people had already put him in his scooter to leave, and we insisted he not get up, but he stood up, talked to us for several minutes, and was genuinely just a great person. We thanked him several times for everything he's done, and he took a picture with us. As we were standing and waiting for the picture to develop, I turned around right as he was about to run over my foot. He apologized and laughed. Honestly one of the best moments of my life!"

    18. "I met Duncan Sheik in ‘97 or ‘98 in Houston at the glorious Mucky Duck, an old traditional pub with all the trimmings! He came off of the minuscule stage and sat for a few pints as we all left him be. After 90 or so minutes, we went to thank him for the show and expressed our gratitude for coming to perform and he was extremely kind and generous with the opportunity to play there. This place might hold 60-75 people — it’s that small — but he loved the audience, the vibe, and the atmosphere of the crowd and said he had an amazing time playing there. Super nice, laid-back guy. We chatted for 15–20 minutes!"

    19. "I met Patti LaBelle years ago when she received an honorary degree from the university I worked for. I was in the waiting area for dignitaries and honorees when she came in, looked at my feet, and said, 'I love your toe color!' My toenails were painted light blue. It was so unexpected and sweet for her to notice something that small."

    20. "Jo Koy. I saw a show in freezing cold Winnipeg and he was so nice. He stayed after the show to take pictures with everyone. He would grab your phone and do a selfie video with you. He was just so lovely and joyful, and he seemed so humble during his set too. He FaceTimed his ex during the show to verify a story he was telling. It was nice to hear that they still get along. His comedy act felt like it was catching up with an old, funny friend. I hope he's able to stay as lovely as he is."

    21. "I think all the Harry Potter fans will be thrilled to know Jason Isaacs is one of the kindest human beings I’ve met. I met him at a convention and he had absolutely no line for autographs. so he and I just chatted away for a while about his work and life. Just an absolutely kind and hilarious man. Thrilled to have met him."

    22. "Danny Trejo is super chill! I met him in Austin in 2018. He and his entourage had a table in the VIP section of a bar. My brother and I spotted them and were so excited. Next thing you know, we were asked if we wanted to join them. We got to hang out with him, chat, get free drinks, and take some photos with him. Such a cool night!"

    23. "Joseph Quinn really is incredibly kind and manages to make every interaction feel special somehow, even though I know they are overbooking every event for him because of how in-demand he is right now. He took the time to greet everyone during our photo-op individually and went out of his way to make sure he could make everyone happy. Truly just an amazing man."

    24. "I was the first to recognize Sammy Hagar at our airport terminal, but I was starstruck because it was the first famous person I’d seen in real life. Sammy had been approached multiple times by other fans before I mustered up the courage to ask for a selfie, and he asked me, 'Do you even know who I am?' I sooo badly regret not responding with, 'David Lee Roth, right?'"

    25. Finally: "I’ve met a handful of celebs at assorted comic cons, but the standout for me is Jim Cummings (the voice of Winnie the Pooh). He recorded videos with me doing various voices, signed a photo (as himself and Pooh), and gave me a huge hug. Absolute angel on earth."
