The ending of a favourite TV show is always bittersweet, and we all know just how important final episodes are.

We all know the finales that weren't great, so we recently asked members of asked the BuzzFeed Community to tell us the TV finales that gave us everything we wanted – here's what they said!

Jack closing his eyes and Vincent sweetly laying his side is making me cry right now. The show wasn’t perfect, at all, but the finale was."

The ending, where she goes off to college by herself (with her daughter) was beautiful. I definitely cried."

Finally seeing Leela and Fry’s relationship culminate, watching them live a long and beautiful life together, and the ending acts as an invitation to watch the show again and relive it all right alongside the characters you’ve grown to love. It’s a finale so perfect i’m honestly upset they’re rebooting the show, even though it’s one of my favourites."

"Superstore’s ending was fantastic: Amy and Jonah’s last scene together being interrupted by the same woman who'd interrupted Amy in the first episode, with the realistic way the store was closing after COVID, with Garrett’s last PA announcement over the montage and with the last shot as the call back to the glow in the dark stars in the pilot. That show never went off the rails and ended in a good place."

It was funny and put all of the characters in a good place. It also let them all stay together. The closing scenes are heartbreaking and are accompanied by Sia’s “Breathe Me” which is hauntingly beautiful and makes your ability to fight back tears nearly impossible. A++++"
