You’re more open. People who are more open often describe their personality as, “what you see is what you get”, since the moment you meet them you feel as if you know them already. Open individuals find it hard to lie about their feelings because their emotive nature means it shows on their face immediately. This quality is sometimes frustrating though; even when you want to seem elusive and play your cards close to your chest, your innate openness makes it near impossible for you to do. On the plus side, this openness keeps you hungry for new experiences and challenges.

You’re more closed. People who are more closed are often described as “dark horses” and multilayered, since it takes longer to get to know them than someone who wears their heart on their sleeve. You tend to err on the side of caution in new situations, so when you meet a new person you initially appear guarded until you’re comfortable enough to open up completely. This is a defence mechanism you employ to protect yourself at any cost. You’re a creature of habit, so you’re incredibly loyal to the people and experiences you know and love, but this makes it harder for you to push yourself out of your comfort zone, particularly if you’ve no idea of the outcome.
