I miss mainstream hand-drawn animation so badly. It's honestly so awful that people stopped seeing hand-drawn films in theatres simply because CGI looks more realistic and is therefore more "adult" (which is a garbage rhetoric I'm sick of). It's nice to see studios making animated…
Why do I get the feeling that the only result of this will be more shows written by AI and amateurs who have no idea what they're doing? We've already seen major shows hire new writers just to save on some money; this will probably just encourage them to keep doing it.
Sebastian is far more atrocious to me. He not only looks uncannily like a real crab, but that design looks goofy in all the wrong ways and he still has that over-the-top Jamaican accent. It's almost like trying to force cartoony things into live action just doesn't work.

Good songs getting hatred just because of overplay is so irritating to me. At that point, your problem has nothing to do with the song, yet you place all of your annoyance onto it.
The audacity of even doing this aside, Tom Hanks is probably one of the LAST people I would cast as Gandalf. He can't do an accent to save his life and no amount of charm can translate to wisdom, something core to Gandalf's character. Charles Dance, Mark Rylance, Gary Oldman, the…
Or, here's a thought: we complain about the fact that they're remaking this in the first place. Part of the reason why Nani was allowed to look like that was BECAUSE it was animated. I guarantee you that a live action film in the early 2000s with a dark-skinned, curvy Polynesian lead…
I did like Wybie, but I agree with Gaiman that him saving Coraline in the end wasn't a great choice because it detracted from the whole point of the book that she was able to save herself.
Surprised no one mentioned a film refusing advanced screenings for critics. That's an immediate red flag for me because it means the filmmakers themselves have no faith in its quality. If they refuse to allow critics to see it in advance, it usually means that they want to conceal…
