Promising review: "This product is really amazing! I have large pores and rosacea with the occasional small blemish. This stuff shrunk my pores, helps my rosacea, and minimizes the amount of breakouts I get. I also have pretty dry knees after having my second child, and this also helps with that. I’ve tried everything on my knees, and it’s usually a temporary fix, but this seems to be getting through the driest part and minimizing that as well. Highly recommend!" –andrea

Promising reviews: "I have every skin issue you can think of. Rosacea, acne (hormonal, cystic, whiteheads, blackheads), dehydration, excessive oiliness, redness – all of it. I’ve spent probably thousands on a multitude of different products, trying to find one that would at least make a dent. I’ve had many procedures and many trips to the dermatologist. Nothing I’ve ever used, nothing I’ve ever done, has made such a profound difference in the appearance of my skin. Having rosacea, my face often felt hot, bumpy, and burned. While my complexion is naturally fair and pink, this has seriously covered all my bases in a gentle and effective way. I’ve been trying to turn my skin around for YEARS!! This was the product that did it. If I could give it 100 stars, I would. It has seriously changed my life!" –hc

Get it from Amazon for $13+ (available in two sizes).

    6. Juno & Co.'s Clean 10 Cleansing Balm has only 10 ingredients and REALLY gets makeup off your face in a totally gentle way. A pea-sized amount becomes oil in your hands and just clings to makeup to help remove it.

Promising review: "This is by far the most gentle and effective cleaning balm I’ve ever used. I wear waterproof mascara every day, and this balm removes everything without feeling like I have to rub my eyelashes too intensely. It simply melts into the makeup to break it down and wipes away. It’s also so light, and the scent is super fresh. Additionally, I have dry skin/rosacea, and it has been very calming for my skin. 11/10. Can’t live without it." —Cami

    7. A trio Tree of Life Vitamin C, Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid serums work together to give your skin a glow-up without — according to reviewers — irritating your rosacea.

Be sure to follow the brand's instructions on how to use these together!

Promising review: "I have been using these three products for about two months and it has really improved my skin. I have rosacea, dryness, and sensitive skin, and it has completely removed any dryness I was having and has also helped reduce the redness in my face. I apply after using the One Tree Life Vitamin C cleanser once daily. The cleanser is only half gone, so it lasts about four months, and the serums are getting low but not empty, so if used once daily, it will last two months. Unfortunately, I had a bad reaction to the moisturizer (made my face hot and red), but the serums and cleanser work great for me." —K. S.

Promising review: "I have spent years trying to find something that helps reduce the redness and bumps associated with rosacea. My skin is SO SENSITIVE. I had honestly given up even trying to use acne medicines as they just destroyed my skin. Even so, my skin looked terrible. It was so volatile, bumpy, and red. Makeup didn't hide it well, either. In January, I purchased Glossier's three-step cleansing and moisturizing system and solution. My skin is amazing now. Honestly. I still get a few breakouts, but my once-dead and dull, angry skin looks nice even without makeup! It's not fully recovered yet, but it's getting there. Thank you, Glossier!" —Kels 1.

    Amazon

As a person with formerly oily skin, I'm always worried that something super moisturizing will make me feel greasy. This does not! I use this bb all the time and really adore it. And like I already stated, my derm gave me a sample of this and said, "Use this brand. It's great." And she's right!

Promising review: "I have rosacea, and this product is a godsend in so many ways. It's completely devoid of the ingredients that can aggravate rosacea (oil, fragrance, dyes, fruit extracts, etc), but even better, it includes ingredients that can help improve rosacea. Ceramide and niacinamide can strengthen the skin's moisture barrier, making us less reactive to everything under the sun. There are many skincare lines that cater to rosacea skin, but their products cost so much more. Hint: if you are having a rosacea flare, you might experience some redness and burning when you first try this (I did). Before you give up, try extending your skin care routine. Wash with a very gentle cleanser (the Gentle Hydrating cleanser is awesome), then wait 20 minutes. Then apply your rosacea medicine and wait 20 minutes. Then, apply this moisturizer. Sometimes when you're flared, everything (even just washing your face) makes your skin mad." —CollegeProfessor

    18. Honeyskin Ultimate Face and Body Cream delivers results on all kinds of irritating skin issues besides rosacea, like eczema, psoriasis, and other rashes. TL;DR, it's good to have in your medicine cabinet.

Promising review: "I am absolutely blown away by the results from using this product. I have moderate rosacea made severe by pregnancy, and was at a major loss as to how to manage it. Unable to treat my rosacea as I normally would and with my sensitivity at an all-time high (I couldn’t tolerate anything more than Vaseline), I decided to give this a whirl and could not be happier that I did. I think my picture speaks for itself, but within one week, this cream SIGNIFICANTLY improved my rosacea and sensitivity, and by a month, my skin was completely smooth with minimal redness and scarring left from the months-long flare I’d been having. Fan of Honeyskin for life here!!!" —LR

Promising review: "I've tried many products... including some high-priced creams. I suffer with rosacea and dry skin... so dry in fact that sometimes I felt like I have facial dandruff. My skin is very sensitive as well. Using this product morning and night has not helped with the redness ( I've given up hope on that problem) but my facial dryness is much-improved. I don't write reviews often. But somewhere out there someone suffers with the same problem I have, and perhaps this cream can help them." —Deanna LaForce

    Amazon

We also included Weleda Skin Food in our roundup of affordable skincare that's better than expensive brands.

Promising review: "Psoriasis, rosacea, sensitive skin, dry skin... you name it, and I have it on my face. I am always looking for good moisturizing options that can hide flaky patches without making me look like an oil slick. This stuff is probably in my top two facial products. I took other reviewers' advice and applied a pea-sized amount before bed and woke up to soft supple skin with no hint of greasiness. If I want to reapply before I head to work, I generally mix half a pea-sized amount with a lighter Cerave facial moisturizer and apply it all over my face/neck to avoid the oil-slick effect as this stuff is THICK. A tip for those saying it’s too thick to spread without pulling at delicate skin — rub the cream between your fingers/palms and then pat it all over instead of rubbing it in. I don’t wear makeup because my skin’s too sensitive so I can’t comment on how this works under makeup, but that does speak to how awesome it is for even the most sensitive skin. The scent is a bit ‘earthy’ in an herbal kind of way, but I like it, and it fades within about 20 minutes anyway." —Mistelle

Get it from Amazon for $17.99.

Promising review: "I've been using the original/regular micellar water from Garnier for about two years now. It's helped calm down my rosacea and overall, my skin is clearer since I made the switch. I believe they changed the formula for the regular and included a stronger fragrance, which I absolutely hated. When I ran out and went to reorder, I saw this lovely new product. I have to say that I am much more pleased with this one than the current iteration of the original. The scent is very mild and does not linger and it is slightly more moisturizing. My nose and my face are happier. I would strongly recommend this, even for sensitive skin." –Karen
