Promising review: "A life saver. I can now store several items more conveniently in an orderly manner. Quick and easily installed with great adhesion. Little tip these can be used to hang curtain rods wit much less fuss and are easily taken up and down for cleaning, etc. No holes to drill or screws to lose. the book cover

Promising review: "I've read about four or five books about personal finance. None of them inspired me to take action. Tiffany Aliche's book did. I can't really explain what clicked for me. I can only say that this writing was the most relatable, the goals were the most attainable (financial freedom vs financial wholeness), and the education was the most understandable I've ever read. Tiffany's book helped me see that I actually do make 'enough' money. I just needed to learn how to track, save, and invest it. I'm forever grateful and will be purchasing copies of this book for several family members." —Amazon Customer

Includes three brushes that'll attached to a standard handheld drill.

Promising review: "I’m in love with this. I manage many apartment properties and finding people to do the cleaning has been tricky business, so I end up having to get in and clean these horrendous filth pods tenants lived in and left me to deal with when they move out. The ovens and stove tops are usually the worst, and I absolutely hate cleaning. I came across this drill attachment set, and let me tell you, it helped me tremendously! I still had to get in with a putty knife on some of them but it really cut down my elbow-grease time. If it wasn’t for this drill attachment, I think my arms would have just fallen off trying to clean it as good as I did! My only con would be that it doesn’t have any extension of any sort, so I really had my drill all up in that oven, but well worth it." —alicia haats

Promising review: "This product has been one of my favorite Amazon finds, I’m not sure why I didn’t think of it sooner. It has doubled my closet space in my apartment where I can’t make any damage in terms of adding another permanent shelf — so this has been a perfect solution. It was easy to assemble and is sturdy. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks now with no issue. Your closet has to be pretty high for this to work or else your shirts above are going to get caught on the hangers below and for my case, some of my shirts are dragging on the floor — just keep this in mind when you’re thinking about purchasing." —Alex

Get it from Amazon for $15.47.

    20. A kitchen cabinet painting kit that requires ZERO stripping or priming *might* make you wonder if you're in someone else's house before you've had your coffee. It is a PROJECT but the sweat equity will be well worth not replacing kitchen cabinets (which can run in the tens of thousands to do).

Kit includes low-VOC, low-odor, water-based acrylic paint and primer in one. Requires a one-day application process that dries in a soft, satin finish. Covers 100 square feet of cabinet surface (40 linear feet), which is typical of most kitchen cabinets. Ideal for use on wood, laminate and primed, or painted metal cabinets. Formulated to cover most existing wood finishes and paint in a single coat.

Promising review: "You can see a before and after in my pictures but this paint was AMAZING and a huge transformation to my outdated kitchen.

    The Process:

    - I started off by completely cleaning the wooden cabinets withKRUD KUTTER PC32 Prepaint Cleaner/TSP Substitute. I read a lot of reviews on this cleaner and heard that is was great for cleaning off oils and dirt and it really did wonders.

    - I sanded down the cabinets.

    - I then primed the cabinets with a special wood primer.

    - Once the primer dried I used the Nuvo paint on the cabinets. I did four very thin layers of paint. It is vital that you keep each layer very thin because it will dry weird. I found that in the corner of the cabinets where paint puddled even a little bit that it would cracker so make sure that you keep thin layers

    - Additionally, I ended up purchasing regular brushes outside of this kit. A few blogs said that they used the foam brushes; however I did not like how the paint laid on the cabinets with them." —Danielle Joy

Promising review: "I use my AirPods daily and have for a few years. I’ve cleaned them a couple of times with alcohol and cotton swabs, but it was a pain and never perfect. Saw these on Amazon and decided to give it a try. The putty is just soft enough to really work into the speaker grill/screens in the air pod and pull out wax and other gunk. The tiny cotton swabs that come with the kit are great for removing large debris and working into cracks. I was able to reuse the putty pieces multiple times to remove all or as much debris and ear wax as possible. Couldn’t be happier with the results. I can hear clearly using my AirPods again!!!" —Trevor

    Too Good To Go

Here's how it works: First, see if it's available in your area. Then if so, you can download and browse different options with pickup times and "mystery" bags of food (mostly toward the end of a business day) of items that are already premade (think wraps from your grocery store's premade food section), ready to expire (stuff that's close to its sell-by date but is still totally safe), or produce that's about to go bad (like from your favorite juicery). You can even rate the mystery bags to let other app users know what's worth their time and (discounted) money. *Or* you can opt to pick up a meal from a restaurant. Availability changes throughout the day so you can check in a couple of times to get a better grasp of your options. I'm NYC-based so my options are endless. It's worth checking out if you're in a similar large market.

For example, I can snag a "surprise bag" from a Just Salad location for $4.99 with food left over from the business day that's valued at $15. Another option is a surprise bag from Oaxaca Taco (which is very good, btw) with info that it could include a burrito, chips, salsa, or other surplus foods for $5.99 with an $18 value. There are a finite number of spots to claim. So if you claim something when you see it, you're better off for getting fed later.

    29. A repair kit that'll help you fix $200+ cracks and chips on tubs, sinks, and countertops whether they're acrylic, porcelain, enamel, or fiberglass.

before pic of unsightly chip and then it filled in

Promising review: "I’ve had a dent in my bathtub for five years. It happened when we were building our house. I’m sure someone dropped a tile but no one owned up to what happened. i’m sure that’s not surprising and It’s always bothered me. It’s also been an issue because the dent is so deep I had trouble cleaning it as soap scum would collect on the rough edge. Every time I thought about getting it fixed so I thought about my builder at one point telling me that it would probably cost a $200 to fix but it could be fixed. I was never sure that it bothered me $200 worth so I just lived with it until ran across this product and thought it was definitely worth a shot.

The dent on the tub was so deep that it took a couple of good applications. It actually took more but it would’ve only been a couple if I use this scraper from the beginning. I had to layer the product as the first application only partially filled the hole, and the goal for subsequent applications was to get it even and blend and smooth along the edges. The chip in the tile was just a surface chip so this wasn’t quite as necessary.

I don’t have that nasty gash that I have to clean out anymore. I am so happy with the results!" —MBA Squared

After searching and realizing my bag was discontinued and no other bag in the same price range compared I looked into repairing it. The seam began wearing and was unable to be stitched back together. This liquid stitch teamed with tenacious tape worked so well I decided to apply liquid stitch to all seams and make my hiking bag better than new. Goes on white but dries clear." —Cheryl Bates

I put both on and no one could tell the difference out of the five people I asked, and one person said the Essence one looked better. Never paying more than $10 for a mascara again." —Hannahp

Get it from Amazon for $8.99.

    33. A razor cover can help you get far more use out your razors because wow they really add up (and not in a good way).

Promising review: "Something as simple as this can prolong the life of my pricey razor cartridges? I didn’t believe it but decided to try it. Yeah. It works!

Before the Steel Bee, a razor cartridge would go bland after a week. So a four pack of those pricey name brand razor cartridges would not even last me an entire month. But honestly, after using Steel Bee on the daily after every shave- I have had the SAME razor cartridge for the past MONTH! It’s still sharp. Doesn’t tug. Doesn’t irritate my skin. No ingrown hairs. I’m not sure how this Steel Bee works exactly but I must say- it works!
Some reviews say just blow dry it for same effect. I don’t have the time to sit there and blow dry a razor. (Who does?)
Others say just pay dry it on a towel and it’ll be fine. I tried that. They don’t last.
BUT, after every shave, I rinse razor, pat dry gently with towel and finish off with sliding the Steel Bee on and that’s it! I go on about my day.
I’m definitely buying these as gifts for Father’s Day along with new razors for the guys in my life. Saves money in the long run with these dang razors that seem to keep going up in price." —SimplyMe

I tried the "pinch" technique recommended as step 1 and my zipper sort of worked on most zips for about a day, then went back to its bad behavior. I then went with replacing the pull as described in the directions. My zipper now works better than it has in years! For the few dollars the kit cost, it saved me a good hundred on a new coat. BuzzFeed editor holding a bottle of truffle seasoning
Reviewer image of sunny side up eggs with seasoning on them
    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed,

My colleague Emma Lord (pictured above) is ready to divulge why this stuff is so great:

"Okay, I bought this on a whim because there's a sushi place down the street from me that makes truffle avocado sushi rolls and I was like, I need these in my life, but I also need money to live. I decided to DIY it with a regular $4 avocado roll and this seasoning and the umami bliss of it all basically exploded my brain. Since then I've tried it on eggs, on burritos, on potatoes, on chocolate mug cakes, pretty much every sweet and savory thing I can think of. The best part is you really get an excellent bang for your buck — it's so flavorful that I've been using this for months now and have barely made a dent in the container!"

Promising review: "Yes, I'm a truffle lover to begin with. And, of course, only a truffle is a truffle. But I gotta tell ya this delectable heaven-sent powder is one heck of a more versatile option. Utterly AMAZING on popcorn, in eggs, added to soups and sauces to layer flavors, veggies, PASTA...the list is endless (I think the only thing I haven't tried was sprinkling it on ice cream...although LOL). It is a bit salty, so I advise testing the waters first. But I just ordered my 9th and 10th bottle of the Truffle Zest." —Greengirl
