Rocco & Roxie Supply Company is a family-owned small business established in 2013 that specializes in pet odor eliminators, pet toys, pet snacks, and pet accessories.

Promising review: "If you have a dog more prone to accidents (who has really stinky messes, in particular), buy this and skip everything else. I’ve used many pet cleaners but this one is easily my favorite. You want to soak up/clean up as much as you can, kinda pat dry, then spray a good amount. I like to let it set for a while, put down some carpet scent powder, and then vacuum over everything. You’ll notice a distinct lighter color over your carpet because it cleans up EVERYTHING (not just the potty stains). definitely worth the price, I’ll be buying more again soon." —Asia Chance

    3. A double-layered litter mat with a honeycomb design that catches and traps litter that seems to end up just about everywhere in your home. To rid the mat of the trapped litter, simply press in on the sides to open up the mat and dump the trapped litter back into your litter box.

My colleague Jenae Sitzes owns and swears by this mat for her cats:

"I've been using this trapper mat for over a year now, and while it's pretty much impossible to eliminate all litter from your home if you own even one cat, let alone multiple, this mat has made keeping the floor of my litter box room MUCH more manageable. Unlike other mats, where the litter just kind of sits on top and eventually gets kicked elsewhere, this mat is designed so that the litter falls through the holes and stays inside the mat until you're ready to dump it. It's made out of an EVA material that's supposed to be gentle enough for cat paws, and my two kitties don't seem to have a problem walking on it. I *highly* recommend getting the larger 30-by-24-inch mat to extend the coverage area — I initially got the smaller one but went back for the larger size and it's perfect. Note that the mat will probably have a fold down the middle when it first arrives, but just give it some time and weigh it down with something if needed; it'll lay flat."

Promising review: "I can't live without it now. My cats are a big pain in my butt when it comes to pushing litter out of the litter box. Sometimes they even just play with it (which I don't understand) and this product saves me so much time and energy on cleaning up their mess!" —Naomi

Promising review: "Ok, wow! This stuff is amazing. We have so much stuff on our walls from our dog and moving. The paint that was used before we bought the house must have been cheap because it wipes off so easily, and the paint underneath is dark. I tried Magic Erasers and other cleaning products. 12. touchless stationary vacuum you can simply sweep a pile of fur into rather than scooping it into a dust pan and then trying to dump it into the trash can, only to have hair flying around everywhere.

Promising reviews: "This has been a champ for the first few months. So much better than a cordless vacuum stick with a lab who sheds — pull out a wide brush, push it around the room, aim for the stationary vacuum, and let 'er rip (a small broom helps target better for the last step). One minute and done. Emptying isn’t necessary every day, but it is easy to do. No complaints at all so far." —R. Marlowe

It does the job and has made life a bit easier and a whole lot cleaner. I may add another for our kitchen. We also have a miniature golden doodle. And this vacuum works so much better than trying to manage the hair with a robo-vac type tool that ends up with hair wrapped around its brush." —Rebecca O

a wet cat looking adorably angry
an orange silicone drain stopper with pet hair on it

Promising review: "I shower my dogs in the tub and this makes it really easy to clean out the dog hair. It doesn't just stop the dog hair from going down the drain but it also lets the water continue to drain while collecting loads of dog hair. When my dog is shedding, I do have to pull it out to clean twice but that beats having to grab clumps of fur from the top of the drain every few seconds" —EV

Get it from Amazon for $12.99 (available in six colors).

    14. Or a drain clog remover in case it's a little too late for that. Use this, then put in a TubShroom so your future is a little less gross.

Promising review: "I wish I would have had this years and years ago...all the money I'd have saved! The pictures that people post are accurate as to what came out of the tub drain. It was disgusting. I have long hair and we have a dog that we bathe in the tub; it was so gross. The hair kept coming and coming and coming...yuck! I am so happy to have clear drains now that drain quickly (quicker than EVER!) without the use of chemicals. Plus, it's so much cheaper than buying the liquid stuff that doesn't work even half as well. I highly recommend this product. You will be amazed at not only what comes out of your shower drain, but also what comes out of your sink drains as well. It's quite alarming and gross, but you feel so good when it's gone!" —MN Mom

Reviewer using the Hoover on their carpet and you can clearly see the clean line of the carpet next to the mess it's cleaning up

Promising review: "I love everything about the Hoover Smartwash Automatic Carpet cleaner! With adopting our daughter's 16-year-old cat recently, we forgot what problems we used to have with our older cats; not a lot of fun at times. Since we have had the old boy it has been fun, except when he has hairballs, and then the real fun starts! We received our new Hoover shampooer about two weeks ago. So simple to operate, and the carpets dry exceptionally fast. Don't be lazy and do the final rinse with clean water as suggested. The touch button 'full time' dry feature allows you to go back and forth in the dry mode and ALL the excess water comes up like a charm. No leakage, very fast-cleaning, and exceptional suction! I didn't need to pre-spot anything. A great machine!!!" —Peter E. von Elten

I have dogs who pee and poop in the house sometimes, and I use this product to clean their messes. And it is miraculous. No stains, no smell, nothing. It almost works like an eraser. And it works on fabric, wood, rugs, glass. I buy three or four tubs at a time, because I don’t want to run out. This is my go-to for pretty much everything. And they’re really not that expensive.
