Solutions to all the little things that have you screaming, WHY?!?!?!
Promising review: "These things are great! I am very particular about cleaning. If/when I save glass jars or, on occasion, plastic containers, I absolutely dislike having residue left on the container after working the label off. These awesome little tools help to scrape off labels with ease, and help get any residue off! It still takes some work, but these are amazing! I bought a two-pack for myself, and then, since they work so well, I bought the five-pack to give to my mom. She saves more containers and jars than I do." —Christa S

Promising review: "These are definitely worth the price. My significant other and I apparently run marathons in our sleep, so the fitted sheet and mattress pad came off the bed without fail. We own a double pillow-top mattress and they haven't stretched out while holding a fitted sheet, (that shrunk in the wash), plus two mattress pads. They hold them firmly to the bed with no slipping. No damage has been done to the sheets, either." —Michelle

Promising review: "Since I started using these clips, I haven't had to pull up my straps a single time! I used to have to pull them back up a dozen times a day. No more. Now I can put on my bra and then just forget that it is there. I don't notice any change in the fit of my bra. I wear a large cup size and the last thing I wanted was to add to that. However, with the straps fully extended on my bra, I find the fit to be essentially the same as before. The only difference is that the straps stay in place. If you've ever struggled to keep your straps up, you owe it to yourself to try this product." —K. Howe

Actually, if you live anywhere with a massive public transport system then chances are you've seen total strangers nail clippings flying about while they cut their fingernails (or even toenails, I've seen it all). How awesome would it be if they had one of these while they maintained their personal hygiene in a public space?
Promising review: "Clippers can be used for both finger and toenails. It requires very little pressure to cut even thick nails. The clippings are caught within the clipper and can be emptied after you are finished by shaking them out. The clipper is precision made and a padded metal case is provided. The opening is 2 mm. The excellent performance of the clipper is worth the higher cost." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I have a number of necklaces whose clasps are so tiny that I have trouble connecting them, so I was looking for magnets that would be strong enough to support a chain and pendant that were fairly valuable. This turned out to be a winner! I can sleep and shower with it on and never have to worry about it becoming detached. I actually have to tug a bit to get it to unlatch. Of course, I can't guarantee it will never come detached, but this more than filled my hopes for a magnetic clasp." —EDC

Promising review: "I have used these for years! They are great for taking off any mascara or shadow right after you put it on! They're so easy to pull out, and swipe the lid or under eye for any residue. Also I have very sensitive eyes and it doesn't bother them at all!" —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "What is there NOT to love?? This actually works. My butter is soft but holds its shape and cold to the touch. I change my water every two days. Before I add fresh water, I clean the crock with soap and hot water and dry. I put an ice cube in my measuring cup to get the water cold then take out the ice and measure 3 oz. into the crock. This is absolutely amazing. I wish I knew about this 40 years ago." —Lori

Cords are six feet long and have three plugs each.
Promising review: "I have no idea why these are not sold everywhere. PERFECT for my room! I ended up getting this due to my king size bed being against a wall with only one outlet. I needed a way to connect my two lamps on my nightstand and this is absolutely, without a doubt, the very best solution to connecting my lamps and also not having all my outlets taken up. I recommend this to everyone! Also perfect for outlets connected to a switch to turn on and off both lights at the same time." —Ryan

Promising review: "I have five of these cords now. They are the BEST thing ever. No more bending down low or trying to reach the outlet in the wall, from behind things. The plug is right there for you. I'm getting older, and have back issues, so these are SO wonderful and helpful for me. Love them. You can wrap them around pretty much anything and they stay! You will not be sorry with these. Get them for your parents/grandparents!! They will appreciate them!" —nancy

Promising review: "This was bigger than what we expected, maybe five to six inches tall, but honestly it isn't a big deal — it has solved the problem! One person can leave the house and the next person that is home knows whether or not the pooch has been fed. The sliders don't move on their own. I've included a photo so you can compare. Maybe I will get some of that removable tape and stick it to the wall, but for now it lays on a little table where we keep her treats, her feeding bowls are below it, so it worked out. Wish I would have bought this years ago!" —Shop Munki

Promising review: "This is a must around the house! We have one on each level of the house and it is used everywhere! This is the perfect stocking stuffer gift and we have given 20 or so of these — someone always asks where we got them! The slice-it blade works for zipping through packaging and the button-extended blade is sharp but small. This is a fabulous tool that is perfect for all the stupid hard plastic packaging with the crimped sides! Also excellent for opening taped boxes, cutting the ribbon on gifts, cutting foam board, cardboard, or chipboard." —T. C.

The 24-piece set includes 16 outlet sealers, 6 switch plates, and 2 decorative covers.
Promising review: "Socket sealer. Say it with me. Socket sealer. Alliteration can be so much fun. Okay, now with that out of our system, down to brass tacks. I love these. They're cheap and easy to install. They block the draft that is sure to come out of an electrical outlet or a light switch. I've used these in apartments and in houses. They work both ways. Just unscrew the plate, slap one of these bad boys in, and screw the plate back in. Just be sure to not touch metal to metal or skin to metal. It's a good idea to flip the breaker to deactivate the outlets you're installing these on. Otherwise, you'll give yourself a nice jolt. Or three. You know how everyone tells you not to stick a fork into an outlet? The same principle applies here except your finger is the fork and you can't taste purple for a while. So do yourself the favor of flipping the breaker before installing these. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Once. Or maybe three times. I can't remember too good now." —Frequency Jones

Brussels sprouts, potatoes, leeks, garlic, butternut squash, carrots, and more filling up a whole roasting pan. I am delighted to have this as part of my kitchen collection." —Nicki Heskin

Promising review: "I have been looking for something like this for years! When I buy jeans I typically have to have them altered just a little. If I find a pair that fits my hips there’s always a big gap and it’s too big for my waist. Regular belts are very uncomfortable to me, they make this big pooch out to the front, and the buckle often makes holes in my shirts. This is perfect! It keeps my pants up making the fit perfect without adding more bulk to the front. I call this 'my girl suspenders!' I am definitely ordering another one and I recommend!" —Dina

Promising review: "I'm a highlighter junkie and I love these. The colors are pigmented enough to draw attention to it but not so much so that I can't read the font that I highlighted. It rarely, if ever, bleeds through paper. I usually avoid green and orange because they tend to be too pigmented and dark but the ones in this bunch are perfect. It also does not smudge and I'm very prone to that since I'm left-handed. I like the clear view part since it helps me see when I should stop highlighting, very precise." —Steph

I love how I am able to grab my lipstick/lip balm/Chapstick, uncap, moisturize my lips, re-cap, and just let go. The retractable part is probably the best part because it makes it easy to get, and even easier to put away and not lose your Chapstick. This holder is perfect for people who travel and/or who are always losing their Chapsticks." —Mit's

Promising review: "These have to be among the most useful gadgets in my kitchen and we use them constantly for open loaves of bread, crackers, rice, and many other types of packaging where you need a secure hold. I have ordered additional ones since the kitchen is not the only place I have found them useful." —Connie of GA

Promising review: "I, unfortunately, forgot to put these on my shoes for the outdoor ceremony and pictures. My heels sunk into the grass and the heels also kept getting caught on my dress which was an intricate lace. Once I was back to the bridal suite, before heading back to the reception, I put these on and they worked fabulously. Not only did they prevent my heels from sinking into the ground, but they also protected my gown from the heels catching when I walked, which had been a huge unanticipated problem. They are slightly visible, but the delicate petal shape makes them pretty and unobtrusive. I absolutely recommend these and won't hesitate to use them in the future." —npview

Promising review: "This is a great little device! I often use canned tomatoes but wish to keep the juice from them separate. I used to use one of those funnels with a strainer in it, but the holes were too small and got clogged easily — and the funnel itself got loaded with liquid while it was in the bowl. It was very frustrating. The holes in this are larger and allow the liquid to pass through more easily. I found it didn't work the way it is supposed to for tuna fish, because the strainer dips into the can, and there isn't any room for that with tuna. BUT I just inverted the can over the holes from the front, flipped it over, holding the can in place, and it worked fine! Glad I got this, it sure solved one of my most annoying problems." —CarolynCAG

Promising review: "I've been eyeing this same tool from Pampered Chef but it's so pricy I didn't want to take the plunge. When I found this one on Amazon and saw how much more reasonably priced it was, I decided to go for it. I've used it a few times since purchasing and it is awesome! Works just as well as I envisioned the pricier version to work and I love that it didn't cost an arm and a leg. I am happy that this comes in red as it matches the other kitchen tools and theme of my kitchen! Thanks for making cooking with ground meat so much simpler." —Genetics

Promising review: "Really great guide to houseplants. I am an experienced outdoor vegetable gardener, who has never had much success with houseplants. The only one I've ever been able to keep alive is, George, my un-killable Aspidistra (Iron Plant). Thanks to this book and the more detailed, but less cute, book Practical Houseplants I now have a little forest of air cleaning plants, succulents, retro '70s plants (rubber plant and Swiss cheese plant), and even two indoor banana trees — all healthy and happy. Even George is happier than ever, with new leaves." —Jo

Promising review: "Does exactly what it says. Rather than getting spackel, waiting for it to dry, sanding it down, and tweaking as needed — this cuts the time/effort down! Just rub over the place in need of patching and wipe off the excess. The hardest part is not accidentally getting the product on parts of the wall that don’t need it, but that’s easy to clean up, so it’s not a problem. I used this to patch holes in the wall from a former Wi-Fi router and modem, other than the color difference from the patch to the paint, you’d never know it was patched. Great price, easy to use." —Amanda

Promising review: "I bought this mount to add a 10" monitor onto my laptop at work when I am portable. The item works as a simple clamp attaching the two surfaces together by the bezel. The mount has a slight curve to it so that the extra monitor curves towards me slightly. The mount does cover a small portion of both screens, so I had to change the resolution of the smaller screen in order to read all the text." —slapstar

Promising review: "Had a large amount of brown sugar and couldn't keep it soft even in a tight container. I purchased new 5-quart jars for my flour, sugar, and so forth. I quickly realized my brown sugar was a ROCK! I purchased this, soaked it, and placed it in the sugar as instructed. Within hours it was soft again, which was amazing to me! I have about 2 lbs. of sugar in my jar currently; the jar it's in has a sealed gasket, but I haven't had to re-soak the bear yet (only a month in use currently). I would recommend this to anyone at this point! I'm just so mad I have wasted so much brown sugar over the years." —diosa

Promising review: "We have a 75 lbs., 28" tall at the shoulders Goldendoodle with curly hair and large paws, and a brand new yard on the coast that is 95% sand. In the past three months, I've been wiping his paws ineffectively and spending most of my housekeeping time sweeping/vacuuming all the sand that he brings in and deposits on our hard floors. Our new veterinarian, upon hearing me whine about the situation, recommended I buy this product because she uses it with her own dogs. From the first time I used it, I was sold! It looks like one of those oversized water jugs you can get at a convenience store, with a fitted insert for paws and legs. I stuck my hand (and my kids') inside to try it out and the bristles inside are very soft, and will not hurt sensitive paw pads. The rubber piece at the top made it tricky to pull my hand out (it reminded me of the scene in Where The Red Fern Grows with the raccoon who gets its hand stuck in a log because it won't let go of a shiny piece of tin), but that's helpful in wringing some of the water off the furry paws. Our dog is used to having his feet handled many times a day and it only took a few minutes to teach him what we were doing. But if you have a dog who is jumpy/twitchy or doesn't like having its paws touched, this might not be the right product for you." —Heather

Promising review: "This is such a handy little tool for pulling out racks and pushing items into the oven. The best thing I use it for is my toaster oven! My toaster oven has a small opening (obviously) and trying to get a bulky oven mitt in there to pull out the food is awkward. This thing is the perfect size for pulling out the toaster oven rack, the baking tin, or pushing the food in. It's also great for grabbing the sides of baking trays and dishes and jostling them around to get the food moved about a bit (think fries or chicken poppers shaking around a tray to crisp up on all sides). Keeps my fingers from getting burned!" —krystal m.

Promising review: "I have been using cheap flimsy little metal scoops that my son likes to steal and wanted something more functional. I like that these have the two ends, sometimes a recipe needs the same sized tsp for two different ingredients and it's annoying to have to wash for every single one. This resolved that! The magnet is not very strong at all. It holds them together but alone they won't sick on the fridge or my metal bowls, only a metal surface if it's wide and if there's no gravity to oppose the magnet (on top of an edge but not on the side of anything)." —Lisa

Promising review: "I keep these in the kitchen pantry. Easter Sunday I put a chicken on the rotisserie and lit our well-maintained, less than five-year-old grill that had a full tank of propane and came back in the house. Not three minutes later the grill was engulfed in flames. I grabbed one of these extinguishers and was able to knock the fire back while standing a good distance away. Wearing leather gardening gloves my husband opened the bottom of the grill where the tank resides and I continued to spray while he turned off the gas. The hose that feeds the gas to the burners failed where it entered the grill. The hose looked fine when I last cleaned the grill and the connection was tight. The chicken was unharmed, well it was already dead, put it in the oven and we enjoyed a nice cocktail while our heart rates returned to normal." —Laura C
