James Charles Denied Saying The N-Word After Yet Another #JamesCharlesIsOverParty

"How stupid would I have to be to confidently record a video of me singing the n-word and still have it up the next morning?"

It may only be the second day of 2020, but the drama has already come for YouTuber James Charles, who has found himself at the centre of another #JamesCharlesIsOverParty.

It all started with a New Year's Eve Instagram story video of James singing along to Saweetie's "My Type", which includes several uses of the n-word.

Why is nobody talking about James Charles SAYING THE N WORD TWO TIMES IN A IG STORY. 🤢

People immediately jumped on the video, with many saying they thought James himself said the n-word while singing along to the song.

james charles said the n word and posted the vid on his story... did he really think he’d get away with it lmao

Holl up james charles FILMED HIMSELF saying the n word then decided to upload it to his public account and STILL hasnt deleted it or addressed it????? Lets leave this clown in 2019

james Charles is trending again and all I have to say is why would he be stupid enough to say the n word while recording himself

But others defended him, saying the video showed him skipping over the word and pointing out that James wouldn't have posted the video — and kept it up — if he actually did say it.

wait i don’t even like james but he like didn’t even say the n word he ded skipped over it and if u look at his mouth it doesn’t even match up w the word what

I watched that video of James Charles like 15x yesterday and he really didn’t say the n word looool

I was squinting real hard to see if James charles said the n word in that video and I’ve come to the conclusion that he didn’t say it🤷🏿‍♀️ #jamescharlesisoverparty

And James himself hopped onto Twitter before the whole thing could take off, replying to a fan who straight-up asked him whether he had said the n-word.

"Turn up the volume & listen, I skip over it," he wrote. "How stupid would I have to be to confidently record a video of me singing the n-word and still have it up the next morning?"

@ellej0hnson no? turn up the volume & listen, I skip over it. how stupid would I have to be to confidently record a video of me singing the n word and still have it up the next morning

So James has had his say. And, mostly, people were wondering how many times we'll have to live through a #JamesCharlesIsOverParty.

i feel like this is the 100th time this shit has trended. y’all ended his ass so many times but keep coming back the moment he makes a video shedding his fake tears. y’all some clowns but are we surprised? no. #jamescharlesisoverparty

y’all I can’t fucking do this again. if ur gonna cancel someone, KEEP THEM CANCELED #jamescharlesisoverparty

apparently james charles said the n word .. but we already knew how james is, but y’all cancel him every other month and then still fw him a month later, and buy his shit. #jamescharlesisoverparty
