Like the rest of us, celebs all over the world are staying home as much as possible to combat the coronavirus crisis and flatten the curve, and among them is Lizzie McGuire herself, Hilary Duff.

Hilary is currently self-isolating at home in California with her husband, Matthew Koma, and her two children, 8-year-old Luca and 1-year-old Banks.

And they seem to be having some fun! A couple of weeks ago, Hilary posted an Instagram story documenting Luca giving her a makeover, and she also recently dyed her hair blue.

But in a new interview with Cosmo, Hilary opened up about the not-so-fun side of parenting two young kids during a lockdown, calling it "exhausting".

Although she admitted she is "extremely appreciative" to have certain luxuries like a back yard and a pool, Hilary said she has had "a few really hard days".

She went on to say that explaining to her kids why they aren't able to leave the house without making them anxious is "a whole other navigation".

And Hilary also opened up about her decision to dye her hair blue while in quarantine — as it turns out, the hair dye actually belonged to Luca.

She explained that Luca has always wanted to dye his hair blue, but wasn't allowed to because of school, and Hilary was finally going to let him do it — but he was staying with his dad when the hair dye arrived.
