Sure, a lot of stuff went down in the series finale of Game of Thrones last night. New rulers, dead rulers, exiled rulers. But I'd like to take a moment to talk about Brienne of Tarth.
Once upon a time, we Throners shipped Brienne of Tarth and Jaime the Kingslayer.
We REJOICED when they got together.
And we were PISSED when Jaime left Brienne to be with Cersei.
Now that he's dead, Brienne took it upon herself to update his section in the Book of Brothers.
I initially thought she should have written something like this:
But, in the end, I accepted that this was Brienne telling Jaime's story and all the good things he did, even though he thought he was an awful person.
Still, I can laugh at all of the funny tweets people made about Brienne updating Jaime's story:
