I think outside of comedy, Saw is also a great example of how a tiny budget can actually work in the favour of the movie. It would have had a totally different feel and not worked half as well if they had more to go off.

I actually agree. Even without me not knowing how old she’s supposed to be until reading this, it always feels kind of an awkward casting whenever I watch it, which is a lot. She’s great of course! But yes she WAS too old for the role imo.
