People On Twitter Are Trying To Choose A New National Anthem And Honestly They're All Bops

Bodak Yellow? Nothing but respect for MY national anthem.

After Donald Trump tweeted 12 separate times this weekend about football players kneeling during the playing of the National Anthem, Twitter blew up with hot takes.

The NFL has all sorts of rules and regulations. The only way out for them is to set a rule that you can't kneel during our National Anthem!

However some people have taken this debate as a chance to discuss the relevancy of our national anthem. Because it's been over 200 years since the original anthem was written, people have begun proposing new songs to replace the old anthem.

Of course most of the discussion centers around other famous anthems that have been written through the years.

Perhaps a record breaking song should be our new anthem.

Or maybe simply a song that is guaranteed to bring everyone to their feet.

I'm petitioning the government to change our National Anthem to Hey Ya! by OutKast. It's time we recognize which song is better.

Surely we should have an anthem that pulls on our heartstrings.

Seeing as we can't even agree on whether or not players should be allowed to kneel on the field, chances are we won't be able to agree on a new anthem either. But if I had a vote, I already know what I'd choose.
