Dear horror fans, in case you were wondering, Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights will, in fact, return this year. In a press release, The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan explained how his show coming to HHN was something of a nostalgic journey. He said, “I have loved Halloween Horror Nights for so long. Some of my favorite memories of Halloween were made at Universal Studios, screaming and laughing with my friends. It is such an honor to be included among such fantastic Haunts, and I’m so glad that fans will be able to walk the halls of Hill House this Halloween."

And some of the iconic locations from the series that you'll get to walk (or, realistically, run) through include the Red Room...

A creepy hallway with an arched door at the end

    ...and the Hall of Statues.

A large mansion with boarded up windows and vines growing over it

And, of course, you'll encounter ghosts like the Tall Man...

    ...the Bent-Neck Lady...

...and that creepy-as-all-heck one from the Basement.

Basically...the whole thing will be ~super chill~. Nah, it's gonna be terrifying (and I love it), because I'm going to assume every dark corner will have a ghost just standing there...staring...watching...

The Halloween Horror Nights events begin on Friday, Sept. 3 in Orlando and Thursday, Sept. 9 in Hollywood. Both events run select nights through Sunday, Oct. 31.
