Promising review: "Like most other reviewers, I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with these gloves. They are as soft as butter, and warm to boot! I have pretty small hands, but not tiny — the 'one-sized fits most gloves' are typically a little big on me, and long in the fingers. Based on other reviews, I ordered both the Medium and Small sizes of these gloves. The small was a much better fit. For reference, I wear a Small size in lab gloves (can wear XS, but don't like a super tight fit). I am so impressed with these that I'm planning on purchasing another pair for my Mother-In-Law for Christmas." —Liz G.

Promising review: "This was awesome, and I'm so glad we used it! We have a big, doofy looking dog that we adopted years back but never bothered to try to figure out what he was. He looks like a gigantic boxer with some other weird quirks thrown in. We originally thought maybe he was a Dogo Argentino, but when we started looking some more, we thought American Bulldog with some boxer thrown in. We got the test and gave him the ol' swab in the mouth — only a couple seconds of swabbing between his cheek and gums was enough for the test. Sent it off, got the confirmation in a few days, then the results in about two weeks. Much to our amazement, he is 75% boxer, 12.5% American Bulldog, and 12.5% Standard Bulldog! Here's where people get bent out of shape about this product: They think that it can magically discern everything in your dog's bloodline, and that your dogs looks have to comport with their genetics. Not so much. If you have a true mutt (e.g. a dog whose parents were mutts, and whose grandparents were also mutts), it's not going to help you. It's going to come back as a mixed breed. if you understand the product's limitations, this is a great tool to give you some insight into your furry friend." —Great Odin's Raven

Promising review: "These are the 'yoga pants' of your work wardrobe! I purchased two pairs ... dark charcoal and black. Both look just like the pictures. These pants are amazingly comfortable! They slip on, but look just like traditional dress pants, complete with belt loops, faux pockets (front and back), and they look like they have a zipper front. They're a tad high-waisted for my liking, the fabric is stretchy, somewhat stiff, and has a bit of sheen to it." —Jen D.

Promising review: "Really like these socks! They are substantial, soft, and comfy, but aren't too thick or heavy. (BTW I ordered a different brand of patterned socks along with these last year, and those feel more synthetic-y, tighter, and thinner, in contrast to these nice, soft cotton-and-wool ones, so I'm ordering two more boxes of these.) I like the fun, pretty look of these a lot and was tickled that a bunch of much younger gals in a dance class I wore them to kept saying how much they liked them. I wear a 7.5 or 8 shoe, and these fit perfectly. I wore and washed them a lot all last winter (they became my go-to socks, which is why I'm buying more), and the fabric, colors, texture, etc., are still like new." —Jean

Promising review: "This may not have the 'risque' questions that you will find in other games that are now on the market, but for a great family game, look no further. I brought this home for Christmas and we played it non-stop and had a blast after each round. You can include the ENTIRE family (think conservative grandma to children) without worrying whether you will hurt someone's feelings or egos. The basic premise is that you come up with answers to questions on a sheet that correspond with the letter that appears on the 26-sided die. Let your imagination run wild and come up with fun and unique answers to the questions. Points are awarded for each individual answer that is a duplicate of anyone else playing. Really pretty simple. You can also adjust the rules to your taste. This is a laugh a minute and will really add to any gathering no matter the audience. A great value considering the price of some of the other board games that are out there." —B. Hamlin

Promising review: "I call these my training diamonds, and sometimes I remind my husband of the carat weight in case he feels the need to surprise me with real diamond studs. I am allergic to nickel and have to be careful with earrings. The platinum plating is well done, it hasn't worn off and I have not had any allergic reaction. These arrived in a nice little box, with standard butterfly backs. I had some bigger earring backs handy, so I replaced them right away. (This is a must for me, because if I lose a training diamond I wouldn't trust myself to have real diamond studs at all.)" —LadyJupiter

Promising review: "Say what you will about the subject matter, this book made my 7-year-old son actually cry from laughing so hard at his birthday party. It's been a serious fave among all our kids up to age 14, definitely a most-requested read. It's not tacky at all and puts a positive spin on a type of humor that we usually try to discourage among our five boys." —SuperDad

Promising review: "My flatulence was putting a serious strain on the relationship with my girlfriend. Romantic dinner, movie-goings, and even picnics were turned into foul smelling disaster dates. In the years prior, I spent countless classroom hours mastering the delicate hushed whisper. But the whiffs of gastric murmurs remained untamable. These silent horrors became an embarrassing nuisance this last Thanksgiving at my girlfriend's parents' house. A lovely prepared dinner of turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce turned into an unwanted egg-over-easy menace. And as the conversation lulled into a cloud of unspeakable wrench, her father gave me look of painful disapproval. My relationship was doomed. This Christmas, I received a life-changing gift, Subtle Butt, from none other than my girlfriend's father. That was not a look of condemnation at Thanksgiving dinner — it was a look of heartbreaking recognition. Has he battled this same war? Did he surrender to the clouds of stink, or did he find a token of absolution. Was Subtle Butt our Holy Grail? Indeed it was. No longer am I the victim to my own pernicious digestion, but the master of these ocean winds." —zach

Promising review: "I swear that Play-Doh has gotten better since I was a kid. This stuff is practically mess-free. It doesn’t stick to anything and when any stray little crumbs dry up in a few hours, they are easy to sweep or vacuum away. When pulling old Play-Doh out of a toy with a popsicle stick, the whole thing pops right out and doesn’t leave sticky residue inside of small areas. I use toothpicks and fingernail tools to get it out of any small crevice areas, comes right out! This also doesn’t stain or leave oily residue! I LOVE Play-Doh because two or three colors can entertain my EXTREMELY busy toddler for sometimes up to 45 minutes! That’s 45 whole minutes where I’m not chasing a small child around the house. Sometimes I’m even able to make an important phone call or clean something! It’s well worth the money, especially in rainy and cold climates where toddlers can’t always get outside" —Van & Heidi

Promising review: "This book set is absolutely beautiful!! I bought it to start reading the series to my children over the holidays but it has really been a treat for ME! I love the weight of each book and the quality of the thick, glossy pages. There are only illustrations every few pages or so, which I prefer, as I want my children to use their imagination as I read the story vs. having them see pictures everywhere. The illustrations however are very detailed and well done. Overall, not a cheap purchase but definitely worth it — and something you can keep for generations and pass on. Simply gorgeous!" —NYC Picky Buyer

Promising review: "Water spots, I've learned, are one of the quickest ways to make a nice, new shower look grubby and unkempt. Though I'm fortunate to live in an area where the water is neither too hard, nor too soft, we'll still end up with staining if post-shower droplets aren’t addressed with at least some rapidity. I purchased this product five and a half years ago, and as of the date of this review, it's still going strong. The 10" silicone blade remains in really good shape, and I haven't engaged in any special care beyond hanging it up after every use. The included suction hook works really well, and hasn't once separated or slipped from our acrylic shower pan; though it's still easy enough to remove and reapply should the occasion arise. For best results and a streak-free shine, I recommend cleaning glass and surfaces slowly from top to bottom without applying too much pressure. There’s a chance you may still need to towel off the last little bit of moisture here and there, but all told, this product serves its purpose really well." —ReeserRoo

The coffee basket is large, allowing you to cold brew both coffee or specialty teas. Highly recommend if you are considering a cold brew coffee maker. We had a pitcher styled one and you can't compare!" —Angie

Promising review: "I never, ever thought I'd wear Crocs, but here I am. Our 1.5-year-old daughter loves her Crocs, and we like how easy it is to get them on, how we don't have to fuss over socks, etc. They're great summer shoes for kids. After a while I started thinking about getting myself a pair just as yard work/grilling/fishing/etc. shoes for the same reason. Which is what they started as, but during one The Home Depot trip I realized I never took them off and was wearing them out. Fair game, I guess I'm living the Croc life now." —Tyler

Promising review: "Excellent quality and construction (surprisingly so at $25). The fabric is thick and warm ... and OH SO SOFT, especially on the inside. If I wasn't a broke chick, I'd even pay $40. The sleeves are the perfect length hitting just past my wrist, but the ribbed cuff keeps them secure at the wrist without being tight. I was worried about the side pockets getting all wadded up after the first wash and then being unflattering to the figure, but I REALLY do NOT think that'll be the case. It's a loose fit without being frumpy." —Kyla
