Not having a lid somewhat reduces the plastic waste from these buckets, which is great. It’s a Halloween candy bucket, to me a lid would be annoying if you’re out trick-or-treating.

#17…No, salt does not make the water boil faster. What it does is raise the the boiling temp of the water (so it is hotter) and therefore makes your food cook faster. Yes, it also makes it taste better too.
