If you haven't heard, the Los Angeles Lakers are all but mathematically eliminated from postseason contention, meaning FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2004—2005, LeBron won't be in the NBA Playoffs.
Obviously things were A LOT different back in April 2005, so let's hop in the time machine and see what life was like the last time LeBron James missed the playoffs.
1.First of all, YouTube had JUST been founded a couple months earlier!

5.Three days after the last LeBron-less playoffs began, The Office's Season One finale aired.

13.Netflix was delivering DVDs, but hadn't begun streaming video yet.
14.Hulu didn't even exist!

All we can do is say, "Wow" and accept the fact that time is flying and we shouldn't take watching LeBron compete in the playoffs for granted moving forward!
