    1. A memory foam seat cushion and lumbar pillow that reduces pressure with a U-shaped cutout. This is perfect for everyone who's turned their kitchen table into a cubicle.

the cushions on an office chair

The cover is removable and washable.

Promising review: "Due to COVID-19, I have been working from home since March 11. I write this on Aug. 25. My WFH setup is at my dining room table, and for the first few weeks I was sitting on a hard wooden dining chair, which positioned me a bit lower than ergonomically advisable. That just wasn't sustainable long-term. I knew this ComfiLife Seat Cushion was high-quality, because after a discectomy surgery a number of years back, I bought one for my office chair. ComfiLife has maintained it's quality control and is delivering consistent high-quality products." —Robert

Get them from Amazon: the lumbar pillow for $28.95 (available in two colors) and the seat cushion for $34.95 (available in two colors).

    2. A suprisingly effective migraine stick to free yourself from splitting migraines with the help of peppermint, spearmint, and lavender therapeutic grade oils.

    Yi Yang / BuzzFeed

Promising review: "After reading an article on BuzzFeed that touted this product, I bought one for my boyfriend who suffers from awful, frequent headaches. It WORKS. Not only does he swear by it, but he has also purchased them for his mom and several friends. FANTASTIC." —SarahElizabeth

Get it from Amazon for $11.99.

    3. A pack of AirPod cleaners so you don't have to stress about always using dirty headphones after having them in your ears all day while working. Tuning out distractions takes a toll.

Blue square with lots of ear wax on it that was removed from an AirPod speaker

Just push the square into your AirPod, peel it off, and enjoy the nastiness.

Promising review: "I never usually write reviews but this is an exception. I've had my AirPods for over a year and when the sound quality was diminishing, I was afraid they had a short life expectancy and I would need to get a new pair! Even after using cotton buds to clean the AirPods out, I thought that was enough until my friend said there's stuff built up and hard to see, but there was nothing able to get it out! Enter this product — it literally took five minutes to clean each earbud effectively and instantly the sound quality was as good as new! Loud, clear, less trouble connecting to my phone, etc. I really suggest giving this product. You don't need a full square to clean them, so you can pull a piece off or reuse a square with a side you haven't used! SO happy I found a solution!" —Amazon Customer

Get 12 from Amazon for $11.99 (also available in a pack of 24).

    4. A conveniently portable massage gun to help reduce stress building in your muscles from working in uncomfortable seats at home — it goes 60% deeper than a typical vibration device to increase blood flow and relieve discomfort.

The device, a bag, and two tubes of product

This massager is everything I never knew I needed. I can feel it shaking every drop of tension out of my body. It's great. I only use this for about a minute on every muscle group, but it still makes a difference. Plus, the size makes it easy to store and carry.

Promising review: "I am pleasantly surprised (one might say shocked) by how well this little device does its job. I’ve been doing a lot of hiking in the past few months, and have unfortunately come to the conclusion that my muscle recovery time isn’t what it used to be. The Theragun Mini has been amazing for post-hike wind-down, and I don’t feel the icky next-day soreness nearly as much anymore. I haven’t tried percussive massagers but can say that the intensity and benefits are easily comparable to a regular in-person massage session. It's easy to hold/handle. Battery time is more than acceptable —it takes about an hour to fully charge, which gives about two hours of runtime. It's very quiet for how powerful it is. it’s high-pitched and kind of sounds like an electric toothbrush. It’s also really portable and comes with a soft protective case that I’ve also been storing it in. This is definitely a good introductory device into the world of percussive massagers. It has changed my well-being for the better." —Olga

Get it from Amazon for $199 (available in two colors).

    5. A 100% natural soy Pet House candle so effective, you'll almost forget your coworker is a dog. Smelling Fido all day isn't exactly helping you focus.

reviewer pic of their pup lying on the ground with the clear glass candle between their paws

Promising review: "No buyer's remorse here! I will buy this candle again and again and again... OMG! Love! I bought the Lilac Garden, wow, it smells amazing!! I bought due to us living in our RV after selling our home and waiting for weather to allow us to move up north. We have a few dogs in this small space, ugh, by golly, you walk in the door now and smell fresh-cut lilac, candle style. Most definitely will order again. I would gift it to a friend for sure — that's if I don't keep it for myself instead LOL!" —2XArmyDrills

Get it from Amazon for $21.99 (available in 27 scents).

    6. A chunky knit Bearaby Cotton Napper to sit under while you work since heavier blankets can provide benefits believed to help some people with stress and anxiety.

    A person underneath the blankets

Promising review: "I'm so happy to have finally made this purchase. I occasionally deal with insomnia/wakeups and struggle to get back to sleep. I can't say for sure how much the blanket has helped, but I haven't experienced any of those problems since the blanket arrived. I sometimes wish I had gone with the 20 lb instead of 15, but that may be because the weight gets shared a bit with the body pillow I use and my sleeping kid, who sometimes shares a bed with me. I tend to sleep hot and have felt really comfortable, only sometimes getting rid of the flat sheet under the blanket." —Kelsey C.

Get it from Bearaby for $199 (available in four sizes and five colors).

    7. A bottle of Drop It if you're prone to hangovers. A few drops of these removes sulfites and tanning from wine. Say goodbye to stressful hangovers when trying to work after a wild weekend.

    Emma Lord / BuzzFeed

One bottle can help keep you headache free for up to 55 glasses depending on how many drops you use.

Promising review: "I drank wine one night and did not use the drops. WOW, my IBS hit me like a knife! This proves that they really do work. I wish I had an option to give this product 10 stars!!!! I have had IBS for several years and last fall my IBS went into overdrive, after trying to figure out what was possibly causing it I realized that I have been drinking more red wine then usual. I researched it and sulfates in wine are known to irritate people with IBS. I put five drops in a glass of wine and stir it with a spoon; it does not change the taste of the wine. My youngest daughter also has IBS. I had her try it and it also cured her sulfate issues. I thought that I would have to give up wine, but no more!!!" —Keywest

Get it from Amazon for $14.99.

    8. A StirMate automatic pot stirrer as good as having an extra hand in the kitchen. This'll keep that sauce from clumping while you're multitasking making dinner and finishing that last email of the day.

The device self-adjusts to fit pots from 6–12 inches in diameter and 3–9 inches in depth. The motor will stir for up to 13 hours per charge and then only takes 30 minutes to recharge.

Promising review: "I love this device. It will slave over the stove stirring your soups, sauces, and candies all day without a complaint or tiring. Now I cook things that I enjoyed serving and eat but hated all that stirring. No more burnt pots and ruined recipes due to under-stirring. It’s a little costly, but once you use it, you will never be without it. I may even buy another one to handle all of my stirring. This would also make a perfect gift." —Steve Bruss

Get it from Amazon for $63.81.

    9. An asymmetrical vanity desk that'll combine your desk and vanity with a little extra flair. If you're stressed about working in your tiny bedroom, consider buying this.

The product holding makeup, a mirror, and a desktop

Promising review: "The design of this piece is wonderful and so practical. A beautiful, modern vanity with storage, as well as the perfect writing desk or computer desk. Works out fantastic for doing hair and makeup to homework and crafts. I'm very happy with this purchase." —Lorri Ann

Get it from Amazon for $149.99.

    10. An adjustable cellphone stand so you won't feel the blood leaving your hands from endless video calls. And it has space for charging cables at the bottom in case your phone dies.

    Jennifer Tonti / BuzzFeed

    Here's what my colleague thought:

"I bought this for my home office while we've been WFH this year. It helps keep my phone in sight for breaking news, which seems to never end huh! It also helps keep my phone in one place for charging. Just slide the cord through the back and you now have a handy dandy charging station." —Jennifer Tonti, Buzzfeed Shopping Writer

Get it from Amazon for $12.99.

    11. An indoor storage bench perfect for those concerned about seating and a place to store reams of paper, writing utensils, or equipment you'd rather not display.

Promising review: “Great buy. I thought it would be flimsy since it was inexpensive but that's not the case. I have received many compliments and feel secure when I sit on it. I use it for the foot of my bed and it matched perfectly with my charcoal fabric headboard. This ottoman has exceeded my expectations.” —SARAH

    12. Or a compact file cabinet to give your important documents a permanent home and finally relax without the visible clutter. Unlike most file cabinets, this one doesn't look like it came straight out of the 1980s.

Promising review: "I purchased this because of the size, and I am pleasantly shocked at the available storage in this little cabinet. It is well constructed and seems pretty sturdy. It has four casters, two of which are locking, and one smaller caster located on the bottom drawer that you will need to install (VERY EASILY DONE). Also comes with two keys to lock up your items." —Brian Hutchens

Promising review: "A package of frozen meat would have taken at least two days to thaw in the fridge. I used this for a 2-pound package a couple of days ago, and the meat was thawed within 90 minutes. One of the most practical kitchen gadgets I own." —Llda Schellhase

Promising review: "This alarm clock has been a lifesaver/marriage saver, LOL! My husband wakes up for work super early, and every morning, he would wake myself and my infant son up with his obnoxious alarm clock! I started to look into a vibrating alarm and decided on the Sonic Bomb to use the vibration feature only, and let me tell you IT WORKS, and IT'S AWESOME!!! If you need a tactile alarm clock, I would definitely recommend the Sonic Bomb!" —Jessica

    17. An easy-to-store two-tier folding desk because there's nothing like NOT seeing your desk when you're not at work. Remember that 😭? Keep your workspace out of sight and mind after you sign off by putting it away.

Two-tier wood-top desk with black metal crossing legs

Promising review: "I ordered this desk in a pinch. I live in Brooklyn in a smaller apartment where I quite frankly have no space to have a freestanding desk with my other furniture. When my company implemented a WFH policy last week, I took a gamble and ordered this desk because 1. I could collapse it and tuck it under my bed when I wasn't using it, and 2. It was spacious and sturdy looking enough to actually do work on. I received it today, and I am beyond pleased. No setup required — quite literally took it from the box, slid it from collapsed to open, and began working on it. I cannot recommend this enough for the price, functionality, and delivery speed!" —Sydney

Get it from Amazon for $69.99+ (available in seven colors).

"I recently purchased this bad boy as a birthday gift for my momma and after plugging it in and letting it get to work on her shoulders — which she's complained about having pain in for months — she immediately said her shoulders felt lighter. I tried this on my feet and honestly, it's sooooo relaxing! It feels like rolling your feet across tiny lacrosse balls but BETTER because all you have to do is sit there and let this contraption do all the work for you." —Jasmin Suknanan

    reviewer photo of the planner

Promising review: "This is the best planner I have ever used! I always get burned out after a month and quit using it. However, with this planner, I’ve been using it regularly for three months with no sign of stopping. It has exactly what you need with room for creative freedom in case you want to decorate it. I love to draw on and decorate the monthly pages as if it’s a bullet journal. It’s the perfect size and weight, and I also love that the dates in the planner are all blank so you can start it any time of year and take a break without wasting pages. I highly recommend this planner, especially for people who have struggled keeping a planner in the past or want to try out bullet journaling but aren’t dedicated enough to keep up with it (like me!). I definitely will be purchasing this again." —Autumn

Grace Eleyae is a small, Black woman-owned business that makes pillowcases, caps, and other hair accessories.

Promising review: "This is a great cap and the price is reasonable for the quality. I use mostly for night, but it's very stylish and can be worn out. Its a little big for my head so it sometimes slips a bit while I'm sleeping, but I don't like things too tight on my head so I don't mind. It's very comfortable. Sometimes my head gets a little warm with it on, but mostly fine. I noticed my hair was feeling more dried out sleeping on my regular pillow. This has helped my hair not feel so dry in the morning and smoother when I brush it. I used it on a trip recently where the humidity was very high and my hair didn't turn into a frizz ball like it usually does. Very pleased and have already given it as a gift." —Anonymous

    28. A vacuum insulated, rust-proof, Stanley thermos so your coffee will stay hot for up to 24 hours, yes you read that correctly. If you have a stressful, fast-pace job, you don't have time to be reheating coffee in the kitchen.

a person pouring a hot beverage into the wide-mouth thermos

Promising review: "Love my 40-year-old, 1-quart Stanley vacuum bottle, AKA thermos. The only problem, and I mean the only problem is 1-quart of hot chocolate doesn't go very far with a family of five. And who wants to lug and wash two of them? So I was excited to see this product that essentially doubles the capacity. After winter excursions where we come back to the car cold, this holds enough to make sure everyone gets plenty and warms right up. After hours in the car, the hot chocolate is tongue scorching hot. It has the same Stanley quality and durability as my classic, smaller model. This really is perfect. And you don't have to pay jacked up prices for the snow monster name. Stanley thermoses have been around generations, for a good reason." —John

Get it from Amazon for $19.82+ (available in two sizes).

"I have this at my desk and love it! It has a microfiber tip on one side and the WORLD'S SOFTEST retractable bristles on the other. Like, I use this thing more as a fidget toy and for petting the bristles than for cleaning. My laptop is so gross that it's a little past hope, but this has tools have definitely helped make clearing out crumbs and erasing smudges easier and cleaning my computer more fun. It's extra handy for the rest of my desk and swiping away post-lunch debris!" —Katy Herman, Buzzfeed Shopping Editor

This thing is easy to set up, well worth the money, and super cute. My eyes and nose stay moisturized and my skin looks better than it ever does in the winter. The kit includes six stretchy strings, six spiky balls, three mesh squeeze balls, three marble and mesh, two flip chains, one liquid motion timer, one peek-a-boo squeeze beans, one snap and click snake, one basketball stress ball, and one magic cube.

Promising review: "I originally bought these for my 5-year-old son. He was doing virtual learning at the time and his therapist suggested buying some fidget toys to help him sit still and control his movements and playing during school on the computer. It helped, but it receives extra points because he expressed how much he enjoyed all the toys. He's picked out his favorite. My 2-year-old has even enjoyed playing with them. It's a nice variety that all kids will enjoy. They are also small enough to throw a few in a diaper bag or even your purse for on the go. Added bonus because of the seller. They have kept in touch with me up until a week after receiving the product. They made sure I received the item, that all the toys were to my liking, and asked there was anything they could do to make things better. Great toy, kids loved it, amazing customer service." —Renae

Promising review: "Bought one for myself and one for my daughter. During COVID, I am working from home and my daughter is doing online school this year. It has been nice to sit in our beds and work on our laptops when we get tired of being at our desks all day. These pillows are extra big and comfortable! There are plenty of pockets for your water bottle, remote, cell phone, pens, notepads etc. I love the extra pillows for your neck and legs. I have back and neck issues, so this is an added bonus and sometimes even use it at night under my legs to help with circulation! Love our reading pillows! Planning to order a few for my family during Christmas too!." —Amazon Customer

    35. An ergonomic desk chair because you've got enough problems and back pain shouldn't be one. Its sleek design offers great lumbar support! High-quality fabric makes this chair look more expensive than it really is.

A black chair pulled up to a desk

Promising review: "This chair is just perfect for me, and this is the THIRD chair I've purchased. It has just enough support and height, AND I love that even with the arms down, as I'm typing they don't touch my arms. So when I'm in work mode, I'm free. When I want to lean back and think about what I've composed, I can do so comfortably. It's also surprisingly light. It honestly feels like it was made on one of those 3D printer things. It was very easy to put together and I did it alone in about 18 minutes tops, including unpacking it. I am in love with this chair. You don't know what you've missed until you've got it. The fact that I can raise the arms independently is EVERYTHING! I can throw a leg over one while I'm watching TV or writing, and then totally switch to a comfortable position while I'm doing my nails. The lumbar support is fine and the height is surprising, too. I have a cushion that I sit on. It raises me about 2.5 inches or so. Besides my couch, this has become one of my favorite seats in my apartment. Oh, and while it rolls freely, it doesn't OVER-roll. I had to buy a stock set of non-rolling caps for my last chair because I couldn't sit still in it." —#EAHWP

Get it from Amazon for $139.99 (available in two colors).

Promising review: "I bought a new desk for my room since working from home is now my new normal. My work laptop has a stand on the back and I was worried it would scratch up my new desk. So I purchased this light pink pad protector to protect my desk and to add a soft pop of color. I love it! It’s just the right size and it’s not too overwhelming or bulky. The material is soft and comfortable. Very pleased with my purchase!" —Brandy B

Promising review: "This is the most amazing invention ever. My husband and I got into a habit of piling up all our random papers in the kitchen on top of the microwave, and I was just SICK of it! Could never find anything and things would go missing. Once I set this up, it was a game changer. My kitchen mess is no longer! And I have not lost another field trip form and have a place for all those floating art projects, receipts, and pay stubs." —Kirsten
