My older sister, Emily, has Angelman Syndrome. This is a rare neurogenetic disorder that causes severe cognitive disability. From her, I have learned unconditional love. She has a happy demeanor and the sweetest smile you ever saw. No matter what my day was like or how much I want to just sit alone in my room, Emily always has a big bear hug and kisses for me. She adores everyone and never forgets a face. She has taught me that all people are deserving of love, no matter their abilities.
