Sam Smith appears to be the latest person to have gotten one, describing how everything happened in a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show. "It's actually wild," they said. "I thought it was a joke."
“It’s a 6-foot-2 marble penis," they added. "It’s two tons, and I’m gonna have to get it craned into my house.”
“Elton John has been involved in my career from the get-go, and he buys me weird gifts,” Ed shared. “Just, like, odd gifts, like sexual sort of objects.”
The "Bad Habits" singer said that he decided to return the favor by getting Elton a “massive marble penis” statue for his birthday last year, hoping it would top the diamond-encrusted cock rings that Elton got from Eminem when he and David Furnish got married.
“I got this huge, flopping, droopy thing," Ed said. "I got a few different iterations — there was, like, a big, erect, vein-y one. I gave it to him for his birthday, and Elton was over the moon about it."
"And then, it got out in the press that I had done it,” Ed continued, explaining how that led to a bunch of requests. “I would be doing interviews, and people would be like, ‘Well, can I have one?’”
"So, I would get them made for just, like, radio interviews, TV interviews," he added. "And then, Sam was around my house. Sam was recording at a recording studio up the road, and Sam saw one of them and said, 'Can I have one?' And I said, 'What would you like?' And Sam said, 'One the size of me. One that's 6-foot-2.' So, there we go! That's it!"
