We Finally Got An Answer To Whether The Little Girl At The End Of "Ralph Breaks The Internet" Is Baby Moana

OK, but honestly, they could be identical twins!!!

So, if you've seen Ralph Breaks the Internet, you know that one of the best things about the movie is how it's layered with so many sight gags, self-references, and Easter eggs.

And arguably the best Easter egg has to be the post-credits scene that worked in the "Pancake Milkshake" teaser trailer that came out earlier this year.

But, one thing people noticed about the teaser trailer was how much the little girl playing "Pancake Milkshake" looked like a baby Moana.

Wait is this baby Moana with an iPad?? #RalphBreakstheInternet

Honestly, the resemblance is uncanny. And, to add further credence to the theory, the character is referred to as "Mo" in the credits and Nicole Scherzinger, who voiced Moana's mother, also voices Mo's mom.

Well the film's directors, Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, recently did an interview with Entertainment Weekly where they set the record straight. According to Johnston, it was NOT Moana, saying:

...We read the comments [when the teaser came out], we saw people saying, 'Wait, is that Baby Moana?' So, her name is Mo, and Moana’s mom does do the voice. But she’s not Moana.

But, Moore then added this detail:

We would say, she’s a descendant of Moana, who’s named Moana. We’re just going to go full meta on this one.

So, there you have it. The only time Moana appears in the film is in the Princesses scenes!!!!
