Ariana Grande Fans Think They've Discovered A Bunch Of Hidden Details On Her Latest Album And My Mind Is Blown

It looks like there might be some subtle details we all missed.

So, by now you'll know that Ariana Grande recently released her sixth album, Positions, and has been enjoying its success ever since.

The album went straight in at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, while the lead single by the same name also hit the top spot. Not too shabby, huh?!

But now that the album has been out for a little while, fans have started to dive deep into each song in the hopes of finding hidden details they might've missed, and...it looks like they might've hit the jackpot!

Among the theories are plenty centring around Mac Miller, Ariana's ex-boyfriend who died back in 2018.

One such theory takes a look at the song "Just Like Magic", which already appears to have a more direct tribute in the lyrics: "Take my pen and write some love letters to heaven."

But fans noticed something else — the sound of crickets. The effect appears after Ariana sings the word "heaven" in the song, and also can be heard after she sings the same word in the title track "Positions".

Another theory claims that the end of Ariana's song "Obvious" sounds very similar to the ending of Mac's song "Come Back to Earth".

It's also interesting to note that the end of "Obvious" transitions into the last song on the album, "POV", a personal song for Ariana, which opens with the sound of water. This could possibly be in reference to Swimming, the last album Mac released before his death.

Aside from potential references to Mac Miller, some fans also believe that Ariana threw major shade at rapper 6ix9ine, who accused Ariana and Justin Bieber of cheating to reach No. 1 on the Billboard charts earlier this year.

Well, you might notice that the first two songs on Positions are titled "Shut Up" and "34+35". What do you get when you mash those two together? Yep: Shut up, 69.

    Well played, Ariana. Well played.
