Tie a brightly colored or patterned scarf to your luggage handle. I started doing it in the military and despite the fact that a bright pink scarf on my seabag got me teased, it still works to this day!
Sorry, buy the yarn, make the balls, then run them through several times tied up in pantyhose.
I feel like my post wasn’t clear.
$15 isn’t a lot for dryer balls, but you can make them for less than two. Buy a skein of yarn for $.99, and when you have a pair of pantyhose run, tie them up and run them through a few cycles in the washer and dryer to set them. One skein makes about four balls.
I plan on making more and gifting them over the holidays.
