There's not a right or wrong answer! The very first recording of "Jingle Bell Rock" was by Bobby Helms in 1957 and does, indeed, say "jinglin' feet." Brenda Lee's equally popular version released in 1964 says "jinglin' beat." That's where it may have gotten lost in translation, because most subsequent versions of the song, including the one by Hall & Oates, the one sung by the Plastics in Mean Girls, and the one from Glee, all use "jinglin' beat."
