Next year, the hottest new internet challenge will be to glue shoes to your feet. I don't know why, and you don't either. Anyway, you'll get pretty drunk one night and your friend will challenge you to a drinking contest. The loser will have to glue roller skates to their feet. You'll lose. The next morning, you'll go to the doctor's asking them how to get these roller skates off of your feet. The doctor will turn you over to scientists, who will tell you the only way to fix it is to alter your molecular DNA so you're one with the roller skates. However, a power surge during the operation will jolt through your body, granting you and your skates super speed.

You'll gain the power of super speed!

In two years, you're going to meet a friend named Chet who will be REALLY into baseball. After wearing you down enough, they'll take you to batting cages at Happy Fun Time, your local arcade. You'll equip yourself, and once that first pitch comes, it'll whiz right past you. The second will come, and you'll hit it clear to the other side. Chet will congratulate you, and you'll turn around to give him a high-five. As soon as you do, another ball will get launched and hit the back of your helmet. Down you'll go, and the next thing you'll remember is the paramedics arriving. You'll regain consciousness quickly, and tell a paramedic to move one foot to the left. Three seconds after you say it, a hot pink golf ball from the putt-putt course will come crashing down where they were standing. BAM. You're clairvoyant.

You'll gain the power of clairvoyance!

In six months, you'll go to visit your parents and their dog Mitzi as they've moved to Florida. About a week into your trip, a bad storm will move in. You'll go out to secure the patio furniture before the lightning starts and make your way back inside. When the storm finally comes, it'll intense and angry. Among the thunder, you hear a slight whimper. You'll see Mitzi struggling to stay afloat in the pool! You'll open the door, jump into the pool, and pull Mitzi to the deck. As soon as you put the dog safely on the patio, a bolt of lightning will electrify the pool before you can get out. The water will clear and the storm will immediately cease because you control the weather now.

In three years, you're going to go to the dentist because you've had a piece of banana peel stuck in a cavity for six days. When you're there, they'll ask you to open your mouth for x-rays to confirm your suspicion. You'll open your mouth, you'll hear the whirring of the machine, the lights will go dark, and... ZAP. The radioactivity in the banana peel interacted with the x-ray machine, and because of several scientific processes that take place simultaneously, you'll have x-ray vision. Have fun saving the world!

In five years, you're going to be scrambling for money (sorry). Desperate, you'll see an ad in the paper looking for people to participate in a sleep study. You'll go in the following Monday, and the hungover office assistant will tell you the door is down the hall and to the left. UH OH. He'll have told you the wrong door and you'll walk into a room with lasers. You'll accidentally get struck with Telekinetonium, an element that hasn't even been discovered yet. Scientists will rush up to you and ask if you're OK, and you'll telekinetically open the door and walk away, changing your life forever.

You'll gain the power of telekinesis!

In six years, you're going to walk into Sam's Pet Superstore in your hometown. You're just going to pet puppies, but while you're there, you'll see a macaw. The macaw will start repeating the word "danger," which, of course, will freak you out. You'll inch closer to it when it'll lunge towards you and bite you on the shoulder. The macaw DNA will fuse with yours Spider-Man-style. From then on, you'll have the ability of flight and you'll also have retractable claws. It'll be pretty sweet.
