This past Saturday, Season 46 of SNL premiered and — given the wild news week we just had — they covered a lot of ground.
And, in case you missed it, the cast and crew over at SNL also paid tribute to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died earlier this month.

In fact, McKinnon's impression was so good, even RBG herself approved during a Sundance "Cinema Talks" interview.

So it was only fitting that this past weekend, McKinnon donned her black robe and collar one more time to pay a powerful, silent tribute to Ginsburg at the end of "Weekend Update."
The segment concluded with an end card honoring RBG as well.
