It's a tough job playing a villain in movies or TV. If you do your job ~too~ well, people will associate you with the evil character you play! Like, Jack Gleeson played Joffrey so well in Game of Thrones that I don't know if I can ever look at him the same way again.
And between The Patriot and Harry Potter, I'm pretty sure anytime I see Jason Isaacs, I will point and yell, "Evil man! Evil man!"
Oh, and speaking of Harry Potter, Helena Bonham Carter was such a good Bellatrix that I completely forgot about all the times she played ~nice~ characters.
