Ah, weddings. They can be so beautiful, so touching, so fun. They can also be super cringe if someone makes a bad speech.
So here's how this will work: We're going to list some things that SOME guests do in their wedding speeches. You decide if they're super cute or super cringe.
1.When the person speaking brings up one of the couple's exes during the speech.
2.When the person speaking tells an embarrassing childhood story about one of the couple.
3.When the person speaking makes a joke about how the couple is going to have sex that night or on the honeymoon.
4.When the person speaking cries a lot.
5.When the person speaking talks about how they're single.
6.When the person speaking at a straight cisgender wedding makes a joke about the wife always being right.
7.When the person speaking at a straight cis wedding makes a joke about how the husband is about to lose all his freedom.
8.When the person speaking brings up how many people someone in the couple dated or slept with before.
9.When the person speaking tells a story about their wild times in college or their early 20s.
10.When one of the parents jokingly threatens their new in-law to never hurt their daughter/son.
11.When the person speaking starts their speech with a dictionary definition.
12.When the person speaking starts with a joke.
13.When the person speaking uses note cards or reads off their phone.
14.When the person speaking didn't plan anything and speaks off the cuff.
15.When the person speaking goes on for more than five minutes.
16.When the person uses a curse word in their speech.
17.When the person says how they didn't like the bride/groom at first, but then they grew on them.
18.When the person says that one of the COUPLE didn't like the other at first, but then they fell in love.
19.When the person speaking talks about how they hope the couple has babies soon.
20.When the person speaking references an inside joke that only the couple or the wedding party understands.
21.When the person speaking recites a poem during their speech.
22.When the person sings during their speech.
23.When the person comments on the couple's attractiveness.
24.When the person makes a joke about divorce during the speech.
25.And finally, when the person went to college with one of the couple and yells out their college or frat/sorority cheer at the end of the speech.
