Sydney Sweeney Admitted She Was "Really Grossed Out" Filming The Hot Tub Scene On "Euphoria"

"By the end of that episode I’m like, how many drinks is she in? She was gone.”

Warning: major spoilers for Euphoria Season 2!!

Well, Euphoria aired Episode 4 of Season 2 last night and it was...chaotic? To say the least.

Not only did we have to watch 61 minutes of Cassie unraveling before our eyes and lusting after the cruelest, most mediocre white man I've ever seen...

But then we had to watch her literally explode in the hot tub.

Fans of the show were obviously horrified by that scene because it was 1) disgusting and 2) frankly, embarrassing.

I haven't felt so much secondhand embarrassment for a TV character since Otis's little drunken speech on Sex Education.

Otis tellling a crowd of people that Maeve told him she liked him and that he like her more than he liked Ola

The good news is Sydney Sweeney is not actually Cassie IRL and was equally horrified by her little upchuck.

"During the hot tub scene, during the throwing up, I got really grossed out," she told Decider. "They had this invisible tube that looked like a horse bit and they put it in my mouth and I had to somehow hold and make it look semi-normal and then throw up over everyone, which was…it was so gross."

Although the puking was...gross, Sydney did say she enjoyed the rest of the scene — flailing around in the balloons and pretending to be wasted.

"It was a lot of fun," she said. "I was enjoying that because I finally got to let loose as Cassie and…it was cool. And I actually got very tangled [in the balloons]. To the point that they had to call cut because it was all around my neck.”

She also added that the entire Maddy birthday party scene was "chaotic" for Cassie. "That episode is so chaotic,” she said. “What I love about Sam [Levinson] is every shot he wanted her to be drinking a different bottle."

Cassie, I love you, but you gotta do better.
