Awesome Things You'll Want To Do In NYC This Month

You should really prioritize this peanut butter cupcake filled with Nutella.

    1. Revel in drama at The Bachelor Live, where a local bachelor will be introduced to audience members — from there, first impression dates, one-on-ones, and (*important*) rose ceremonies will ensue.

    2. Mix and match different pigments (and scents!) at Lip Lab By Bite. Not only is the process super fun, but you'll also leave the session with the perfect shade of lipstick — one that you created yourself.

    3. Ever wanted to just, like, smash a glass? Well you can! At Break Bar NYC! Grab a drink and, once finished, smash it! You can also opt for their rage room, where you'll be given a baseball bat and free rein to Hulk-smash a ton of inanimate objects.

    4. Have a drink at George Washington Bar, which pays homage to (surprise) the first US President. From the refurbished fireplace to the splashes of mahogany throughout, you'll feel as if you're lounging at a shooting location for National Treasure.

    5. Stop ogling satisfying slime videos and play with some at Sloomoo Institute instead. You'll walk through a glow-in-the-dark cove, a DIY slime bar, and more — all without having to make a mess in your own home.

    6. Enjoy a three-course meal with a side of murder. That's right! Treat yourself to a comedic murder mystery dinner, where you (the audience members) can work together to solve the case.

    7. Bibliophiles, rejoice! Celebrate the 60th anniversary of the New York International Antiquarian Book Fair and browse rare books you'll want to purchase for your own collection.

    8. Laugh your ~head~ off at SIX, a musical about the six wives of Henry VIII. Get ready for history, heartbreak, catchy tunes, and some very unhappy marriages.

    9. Feast on fresh, authentic Greek food at Taverna Kyclades. FYI: They don't accept reservations and the wait can be a bit long, but they give you complimentary house wine to strengthen your patience.

    10. Take a ~catacombs by candlelight~ tour at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral, where you'll explore hidden (and eery) parts of the church that generally go undisturbed by tourists.

    11. Have your own night at the museum by way of this adults-only sleepover at the Museum of Natural History! Admission includes dinner, live music, live animal showings, a champagne reception, and access to special exhibits.

    12. Satisfy your sweet tooth at Molly's Cupcakes! Opt for the ~create your own~ (where you select cake flavor, frosting, and toppings), or take the easy route and pick a center-filled cupcake.

    13. For belly laughs and craft cocktails, attend a Drunk Shakespeare show. Set in a hidden library, five actors perform Shakespearean plays — expect one of them has downed five shots of whiskey while the other four have not.

    14. For bowling, brews, and delicious hot dogs, head to The Gutter LIC. This old-school bowling alley is great for date night, but live music and a large space also make it the perfect venue for big groups.

    15. For an interactive exhibit that will allow for ample Instagram content, visit Color Factory NYC. Prepare for over 15 vibrant (and photogenic) installations, ball pits and ombre balloons included.
