Would You Pay $2,000 For A Hat Kate Middleton Wore Before She Was Duchess?

Two of her hats going up for auction are expected to fetch $1,500 to $2,300.

Naturally just before the Queen basks in the light of all those diamonds reflecting the awesomeness of her Jubilee, a hot young thing comes along to steal all the attention. Nay, not even a hot young thing — a hot young thing's hats. Two pieces of Kate Middleton's crazy headgear will go up for auction on June 26 at Kerry Taylor's auction room in Bermondsey, which last year sold the see-through dress that is said to have first made Prince William hot for her for an astounding $120,000.

    These are the two hats:

K-Mid wore this to Prince William's Knight of the Garter ceremony June 16, 2008.

This hat made its debut at the wedding of a dude named Harry Meade in October of 2010. Apparently whoever buys these things will get "hire receipts and copies of the milliner's diary entries marking Catherine's appointments," according to British Vogue.
