Turns Out The Line That Appears In Every "Star Wars" Movie Does Appear In "The Last Jedi," Contrary To Popular Belief

I've got a good feeling about this, TBH.

So, unless you banished yourself to live on the remote island Ahch-To, you're aware that The Last Jedi came out this weekend.

And many fans noticed that the new film was full of little easter eggs; however, they also worried that one BIG one was missing.

As all Star Wars fans are aware, one of the most obvious and traditional easter eggs is the quote "I've got a bad feeling about this," which appears in EVERY. SINGLE. STAR WARS. MOVIE.

However, this weekend a lot of critics AND fans noticed that the line did not appear to ever be spoken in The Last Jedi.

But, upon further inspection, director Rian Johnson assured fans that the line DOES in fact appear in the film...just maybe not in the exact place you'd expect.

So where is it?! Well, the Huffington Post confirmed the iconic line is hidden in plain sight during one of the earliest moments of the film.

In a recent interview, they outright asked Johnson if the infamous line came from BB-8′s nervous beeps at the very beginning, when Poe Dameron is about to fly out alone to fight the First Order.

"Yes,” Johnson admitted, “Good catch!”

"It seemed like a fun character to deliver that line,” Johnson said, “I think originally I had Poe respond, ‘Oh, I got a good feeling about it. Keep your chin up.’ And then I made it a little less explicit just to make it more fun.”

So there we have it, the tradition lives on and, just like the force, we found it where we least expected it.
