The New "Lion King" Trailer Gives Us A Glimpse Of Beyoncé Singing And Ghost Mufasa

I can! I CAN feel the love tonight!

The 2019 version of The Lion King has been the coyest of any Disney reboot to date, barely giving us any new footage. You could say they're HOLDING BACK...THEY'RE HIDING.

But this week we FINALLY got a lil' look-see (and a lil' hear-see...get it, because music) at the iconic song "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," sung by none other than our lord and savior, Beyoncé, and the equally amazing Donald Glover:

Y'all. Would you just LISTEN to this song? It's no wonder Timon and Pumbaa knew their pal was doomed, because he's for sure IN LOVE.

Along with the sample of Beyoncé and Glover's beautifully harmonized vocals, we get a listen of James Earl Jones — Mr. Mufasa himself — redelivering his famous foreshadowing monologue.

And, I have to warn you — with the song and the monologue together — it's enough to get you feeling every single feeling in your feelings drawer.

Also, like, let's take a minute to appreciate little baby Simba. He's almost TOO cute. Like, I'd die in a stampede for him.

The trailer ends with a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot of GHOST MUFASA up in the sky, and I'm getting some serious rhino from James and the Giant Peach vibes, I'm JUST saying.

And I, of course, wasn't the only fan working through their feelings about this perfect trailer:

It goes without saying that we can all DEFINITELY feel the love tonight (and every other night for the rest of eternity):

In short, July 19 cannot get here fast enough, but in the meantime, I'll be collecting all of the tissues possible for opening night.
