Jennifer Lawrence Is Running A Bed & Breakfast From Hell In The New "Mother!" Trailer

"He's a stranger... we're just gonna let him sleep in our house?"

An unexpected knock on your door in the middle of the night is one of the most frightening sounds in the world.

Now, take that simple concept and put it in the hands of Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky? The result is the goosebumps-inducing Mother! starring scream-queen-in-the-making Jennifer Lawrence.

Earlier last week we got a teaser taste of this upcoming horror/thriller/no-thank-you fest of a film, and it was enough to get our nightmares fueled.

But today we got our first full-length trailer, which really helps ~flesh out~ the terrifying concepts at play here.

The most basic explanation of the plot seems to be that a nice couple (Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem) are living in their newly remodeled, isolated home.

When, suddenly, they begin receiving unexpected (and uninvited) guests at their door.

These guests (Michelle Pfeiffer and Ed Harris) being, of course, creepy AF.

But it's when Lawrence begins questioning her own husband's involvement that things begin to escalate a little too quickly.

And their beautiful home starts following by the creepy guests' example.

You know the old horror movie saying: When the house starts bleeding... it's probably time to fucking leave, for the love of God.

But as the tagline says, "seeing is believing", so watch the full trailer for yourself below!
