This mask is made of bentonite clay and it sucks everything out of your pores – like, EVERYTHING. Using it is simple: you mix the powdery clay with equal parts water or apple cider vinegar (I like to do a combo of the two), and apply it to your face as you would any other face mask. When this stuff starts to dry you are in for an experience. It freezes your face in place and tightens up every pore, and makes you seriously look like a lizard queen (see above photo for reference). I’ll be honest with you, the feeling is not that pleasant, but hold on – the end result is worth it. You can also just do spot treatments if you don't want to cover your whole face. Check out our full review of the Aztec Secret mask to see before and after pics.

"I only started using this a few months ago, but so far I really like it. It's sunscreen is clear, with the texture of a primer, so it doesn't feel like you're slathering your face in... well, goop. It melts right into the skin, creating a perfect canvas for any makeup to go on top of it. Aaaand it hasn't made me break out *at all*, which is basically a little miracle. AAAAAND it helps my makeup look even better. That's what we call a win/win." —Maitland Quitmeyer

I thought I'd gotten rid of my hormonal acne but hahaha joke's on me, it's reared its ugly head again. This solution balances sebum and clears congested pores, leaving my skin with not but one zit, even when Aunt Flow rolls into town. It also takes, like, five seconds to sink in, so I can happily continue on with my skincare routine right after applying it.

"This face mask was awesome. It was fun, didn't take long, and it's fun as hell to Snapchat. What else could you ask for in a face mask? It also left my face feeling amazing. My skin was a little red after, which I actually didn't mind, because it hadn't felt that clean in weeks. The next morning when I woke up the redness was completely faded and I just felt...cleaner. I would definitely use this again!" —Lara Parker

"In addition to the daily routine, I use Origin's active charcoal mask about once a week, which clears out my pores, rids my skin of pollutants from the air, removes excess oil, and squashes any burgeoning pimples in their tracks. It keeps my skin SO clear without drying it out or irritating it. PLUS you can use it as a spot treatment for acne." —Maitland Quitmeyer

"Kiehl's calls their Cucumber Herbal Toner the 'mildest of all our toners,' and I can definitely believe that. This calming and gentle solution leaves my face feeling refreshed and soothed. This toner is non-drying, alcohol-free, and has just a hint of a cucumber smell. I like to put this in a glass spray bottle and give my face a spritz after washing my face in the morning and at night. If you have dry, sensitive skin and need a good toner, this is a great option!" —Bek O'Connell

"Because I have reactive skin, I read a TON about this powder before I tested it, and hearing that it's made of naturally-derived ingredients definitely put my mind at ease. Using it was incredibly easy, too! It's as simple as dipping a wet cotton ball into the product and dabbing it onto any patches of clogged pores or oily skin. I felt it work almost immediately. There's a slight tingly sensation as the product dries on the skin, but I didn't notice any irritation, itchiness, or reaction at all. I left it on for the requisite 10 minutes, then wiped it off with a toner-soaked cotton pad. And y'all. My nose — a breeding ground for blackheads for the last decade — looked brand-spankin'-new." —Victoria Kuglin

"I love face masks, but applying them with my fingers can get a little messy. These applicators have made it dramatically easier and faster to shellac my face with my favourite clay mask, so I can actually sit back and relax instead of cleaning up my hands. The silicone tip also makes it easy to spread my masks on my face, so I'm not using as much product. It's basically a spatula for your face. They're great for my gel face masks, which tend to be a little more liquid and harder to apply. I also like using them when I'm using multiple masks. I have more control over where the product goes and they're super easy to clean afterward." —Kaysey Davis
