Emily Ratajkowski Shared Her Honest Feelings About Breastfeeding In A Candid Instagram Post

    It's literally a full-time job.

Emily Ratajkowski is getting real about how she spends most of her time as a new mom.

And if you're a parent, you can probably guess that it's all about keeping your baby fed.

In a series of photos on Instagram, Emily shared some intimate moments breastfeeding her newborn baby, Sylvester.

"If it seems like I’m always breastfeeding it’s because I am," Emily captioned the pictures.

This isn't the first time Emily has given an inside look at her breastfeeding journey — and it makes sense, since some new moms can spend between 8 and 12 hours a day breastfeeding.

New mom Hilary Duff echoed Emily's thoughts in a recent interview where she reflected on how often she feeds her daughter Mae.

"It's hard, and it's even harder having the other two [children] that I know need me so much, and this takes up such a huge portion of the day. It seems like every 20 minutes, I'm feeding the baby, and I have to be sitting in one place," Hilary explained.

Mayo Clinic spokesperson and midwife Jennifer Meyers recently told Yahoo Life that the reason breastfeeding is so time-consuming is that breast milk is easily digested, leading nursing infants to get hungry in short intervals.

But no matter how you choose to feed your baby, whether it's through breastfeeding, pumping, or formula, it's important to remember that a well-fed baby is the best-fed baby!
