Some of you have EAGLE eyes.

If you love movies, the chances are you also enjoy reading up on all the teeny-tiny details directors and writers add to their works.

So, we thought we'd share some of the best teeny-tiny details fans shared in Reddit's r/MovieDetails. Here are some of our faves:

1. Lotso, the main character of the then-unreleased Toy Story 3, made a brief cameo in Up.

The star of the then-upcoming Toy Story 3 (2010) made a brief cameo in the Up (2009) movie. D'aww.

2. And the same room in Up foreshadowed Kevin and Dug's appearance via a child's drawing.

3. And there's even another Toy Story reference in the scene (well, sort of).

In fact, the ball, known as the Pixar ball or the Luxor ball, isn't specific to any movie franchise. It first appeared in Luxo Jr., and has since appeared in multiple Pixar films.

4. Davy Jones was very committed to his look in Pirates of the Carribbean.

6. The guidance counsellor in The Breakfast Club has the same name as the movie's production supervisor.

7. The pilot's helmet in Godzilla vs. Kong bears the name of the person behind the movie's visual effects.

8. Spirited Away made a pretty clear reference to My Neighbour Totoro.

9. The Hellboy movies sneakily referenced a specific character from the comics.

10. There was a poster for a film based on real-life Rock 'Em Sock'Em robots in the movie Robots.

For what it's worth, I think it would be!

Side note: there was a Vin Diesel movie set to be made about the toys that never actually got made. But over a decade later, it looks like the film might be back on track (after all, it's a good time for Mattel-based movies right now). 

11. The toys also (who would have guessed?) appear in Toy Story 2.

Mattel (who owns the toys) also had an iconic Barbie in the films.

12. The reverend's name in Hot Fuzz could have been a reference to his guns.

"In Hot Fuzz (2007) the reverend is named Phillip Shooter or P. Shooter. Peashooter is a nickname for small guns that are not particularly effective. Later we see P. Shooter armed with a pair of Derringers, which are tiny pistols."

14. The blackboard at the start of Silence of the Lambs references a poem that is relevant to the killer.

"In the beginning of The Silence of the Lambs (1991), the text "How do you like your blue eyed boy" and "1-2-3-4-5" appears on a blackboard, which is from the 1920 poem Buffalo Bill's by E. E. Cummings, along with agents working the Buffalo Bill case.

It's not clear exactly why the poem would appear in this scene though, because the nickname "Buffalo Bill" was given to the serial killer in the film by law enforcement, rather than the killer himself. So, it may be more of an Easter egg than an actual plot point or foreshadowing, because there's not a connection to the poem that would help the agents find the killer. Unless, of course, whoever wrote it was mistaken or just horsing around."

16. The name of the school in Silent Hill references a book that inspired multiple movies.

"Silent Hill's (2006) elementary school visited by Rose is called Midwich. Midwich is the fictional town of Village of the Damned (1960) and John Carpenter's (1995) remake, both based on the original novel The Midwich Cuckoos written by John Wyndham and published in 1957."

17. The masthead on the ship in Dark Shadows appears later on in the film.

19. Evil Dead Rise showed ripped portions of the posters for bothThe Hills Have Eyes and The Evil Dead in Danny's bedroom.

"The inclusion of The Hills Have Eyes poster is a call-back to the first Evil Dead, in which a ripped copy of the poster can be seen in the cabin's fruit cellar. Sam Raimi had noticed the ripped poster of Jaws in The Hills Have Eyes, and had interpreted it as Wes Craven indirectly telling Steven Spielberg that his movie was far scarier than Jaws. Craven returned the favor by having Nancy watch The Evil Dead in the first Nightmare on Elm Street. Raimi retaliated by adding Freddy's glove inside the workshed in Evil Dead II, as well as a ripped poster of the first Elm Street movie in the cellar (in a scene which was ultimately cut from the final film)."
