You'll Probably Kick Yourself For Not Thinking Of These 46 Products, They're *That* Cool

    *Shakes fists in the air*

    1. An auto-shutoff outlet for anyone who has stopped in a cold panic after they left their house trying to remember if they've turned off their curling iron or straightener (🙋🏻‍♀️). Simply put this in the outlet, plug your device in, and hit the button to set the timer. Then you can go about your day knowing that you won't accidentally burn your house down.

That can't be a fear just I have, right? Right??? You can set the timer on this for one, two, four, or eight hours, or just put it on hold.

Promising review: "Due to MS and just being busy, I keep forgetting to unplug my straightener before I leave, so it's on all day! This is perfect for me. You have to press a button on the unit to select a time for it to power the unit, working only as long as you select. Adding this step has been helpful in reminding me to unplug the darn thing when I'm done, but I know that if I should forget my hot iron will only be on for a total of an hour. I wish it had smaller increments of time, but I won't complain." —Carly

Promising review: "This thing is amazing, how did I survive before??!!?! My 32oz metal water bottle had a cozy lil seat next to me on the passenger side for years. But then my boyfriend came along and stole her seat, so my poor water bottle would roll around in the back seat and knock into stuff while I was driving. Me and her go way back dude, so I'm glad I found a way to keep my manz and my trusty (knock off) hydroflask. He was gonna have to go tbh, gotta hydrate! (kidding, he's great too). I have a 2005 VW Jetta with the wimpiest cup holders, and this fits great. Could fit so many sizes and depths though — if you're worried about fit, don't be. This thing is super adjustable. I've had absolutely no problems with it wiggling or anything so far, despite the shallowness of my original cup"holders". Just make sure to twist it to fit tightly and you'll be set until ready to take it back out." —Alice

And it's so easy to use! All you have to do is fill the water reservoir, put your s'mores ingredients on the tray (up to two of them), and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. The marshmallow and chocolate will heat at the same time — leaving you with one delicious treat.

Promising review: "This is a very cute gadget. I saw this on a TikTok and fell for it lol. I'm glad I did. My kids and I have so much fun making instant s'mores. They're done in about 30–40 seconds with literally no cleanup. The marshmallow doesn't melt over so you basically can just run hot water over it to remove a few crumbs from crackers and be done." —Shawna G.

I was super skeptical of these, but I tried it, and it works as advertised! It’s a little on the expensive side IMO, and that’s kinda holding me back from purchasing a second set, but they really do work." —StrangerThings

    12. A toilet night-light designed with a sensor so it will turn on as soon as you stumble into the bathroom, eyes closed. You won't have to turn on the light, which always wakes you up, causing it to take longer for you to fall back asleep.

It is an LED light and has 16 colors that can either be solid or rotate between all of them.

Promising review: "This seemingly silly little gadget has turned out to be great! The light level (brightness) can be dimmed down if desired, and the color can be set to whatever you want, but the bottom line is that you don't need to turn on a bright overhead light (which wakes me up and makes me angry, not a good combination) when you need to go into the bathroom at night. Cleaning it is a breeze, too; what seems like it's going to be a problem...isn't. I can't recommend this toilet night-light highly enough, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Could be on the gift list this December." —Wandergurrlee

Promising review: "I LOVE this product so much! I drink iced coffee on the daily, but the system I had just wasn't cutting it for me. I didn't know how to brew cold coffee at home (all we have is a Keurig, and there's no cold brew option), so I would go buy iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts every morning. Now don't get me wrong, I love my Dunkin Donuts, but I wanted to find a way to be able to make that same iced coffee at HOME. I think my wallet and gas tank wanted me to figure that out too. I found out about this product through TikTok, and it is a GAME CHANGER. All you have to do is put coffee grounds in the filter, fill up the main compartment 3/4 full with water (I use water from my fridge), screw the filter into the lid, screw the lid shut, shake it a little to put the coffee grounds to work, and let it do its magic for 12-24 hours! This is probably the best investment i've ever made. You need this!!" —Carmen E

gif of a reviewer showing how easy it is to open a jar of olives only using one hand

Promising review: "Once in a while you stumble on a product that is better than advertised. This is one of them. Having arthritis in my hands, I struggle to open some large jars. This works like a charm and makes it a one-handed operation. Following the advice of another reviewer, we mounted it ‘backward’ so the point of the V is towards the front of the cupboard rather than the back. This allows us to pull the jar towards us, rather than pushing it away. It also means we can’t see the metal teeth from our sofa. Now I want to open every jar in the house. :-)" —Eric K.

    reviewer wearing the glasses
reviewer pic of the glasses, showing the blue liquid inside

Promising review: "Hear me out. I saw these on TikTok and the girl swore they worked. I have been the road trip driver for 20 years because I cannot sit in the passenger seat, much less copilot. I bought these ridiculous-looking glasses and tried them out on a very brief drive across town to start out. I looked at my phone. Read. I have not been able to take my eyes off the road previously. I did not get sick. Thought it was a fluke. Tried it again. My husband even offered to drive like a jerk just to do some hard brakes while I was looking down. Nothing. So here is the good news, bad news. They work, which is fantastic. But you look silly wearing them, and they are hard plastic which does not feel great on your ears and nose after a while. My children hid in the backseat while I was wearing them. BUT guess who gets to copilot on the next road trip." —Megan Martinez

Promising review: "Awesome product! There are four of us who were working together to feed the dogs. We all love it so much!" —Toni Deegan

    Abby Kass / BuzzFeed

My family's dog LOVES squeaker toys. She squeaks them over and over and over again and especially loves to put on a little show when my dad's in a virtual meeting. I was intrigued by this toy when I found it at the pet store and had to give it a try. I wasn't sure how well it was going to work, but Izzy loves it so much. You seriously can't hear a thing. I even took the toy in another room (without her knowing) and started "squeaking" it to see what would happen, and only a few seconds later she came running into the room looking for her toy. This toy is amazing. Izzy can squeak all she wants (as you can see in the gif above), and we don't have to hear a thing. If you have a dog that enjoys squeakers, you need to invest in at least one of these toys.

Promising review: "First off, if you have extremely oily skin, this. is. it. I was so tired of getting blotting powder/wipes. It felt wasteful and always left residue on my face. I saw this on TikTok and NEEDED it. It was back ordered, but then I got an email saying it was in stock, and I was SO excited. Not only is it affordable, but it's washable, which helps you save money and be less wasteful. The packaging wasn't over the top exciting, but it provided you all the info you needed. (It felt like the holy grail had been delivered to my front doorstep.) After my first use, I was in love. Now, it doesn't pickup everything but it does make it more matte and gives you a natural look. I am so excited this product exists and I already feel more confident." —Kelsey B.

Promising review: "LOVE LOVE LOVE. My freezer is so much more organized now. Gone are the days of having to defrost an entire bag of chicken broth for one cup for a recipe. I now have perfectly portioned 1/2-cup and 1-cup blocks ready to go. They fit easily in freezer bags, take up less space, and make me incredibly happy. There was a lot of attention to detail put into the design and I particularly appreciate the wire inside the rim that holds everything steady — no more worrying about spilling all the liquid on the way to the freezer. Just a fantastic product all around. I purchased this and a cheaper version from another manufacturer at the same time but returned the other product. This one is definitely worth the added cost." —Kate

Promising review: "I was skeptical that this puller would actually work. I wear dresses Monday through Friday for work. I buy ones that have long, hidden zippers. I am breaking about one zipper every two weeks trying to zip them up by myself. It was costing me about $50 to replace the zippers. Finally, I broke down and bought this. I am so happy that I did. It takes a couple of times to get it on right, but once you get the zipper puller on the zipper, it zips right up. This is perfect! It's great for single moms like me!!!" —M. Sanders

Celsious is a Black woman-owned and environmentally focused laundromat *and* online shop based in Brooklyn.

BuzzFeed Shopping Editor Maitland Quitmeyer says: "Like many of you, I've been living in sweats and PJs during this almost-year of WFH full time. And it's made me revisit the state of some of my loungewear. Take for example, this college sweatshirt I wear all the time — as evidenced by the rather EXTENSIVE pilling all over it. So when I saw this pumice-esque sweater stone (it's made from upcycled car windshield glass — how cool is that?!), I decided it was worth the try. We've featured electric pill removers (mostly the fan-favorite Conair one) many times, and they really work. But sometimes you're looking for a little more detail or control — that's where this stone comes in handy.

I was able to navigate around the contours of the logo on my sweatshirt with ease, removing pills using the corner or the entire flat bottom in a few quick strokes. It truly took no time at all — the sweatshirt was done in mere minutes. The only thing I would note is that particles do "fall out" of the stone, so do your pill-removing on a surface that's easy to sweep or vacuum up at the end."

Plus, it comes with a set of earplugs, to block out all the noise around you!

Promising review: "I'm a light sleeper and use an eye mask and ear plugs every night. They help me sleep better because I don't have dark curtains at home and my street is quite noisy. The last eye mask I bought was a cheap one I found at a dollar store. I'd have to keep buying new ones from time to time because they would tear apart pretty often. MZOO is a game changer. It's high quality and does the job much better! Firstly, I didn't really feel like I was wearing a mask because of the design. It's super comfortable and blocks all light. The earplugs block sound, so I can finally get restful sleep. Totally worth it!" —Nisheeta Jagtiani

    39. A pair of beaded fan pull extenders making it incredibly easy for you to know which chain is for the light and which is for the fan. Plus, the chains add over a foot of length to your existing pulls, so you don't have to grab a ladder just to turn the fan on.

Promising review: "This is the definition of 'product you didn't know you needed because you didn't know it existed.' I was FOREVER pulling the wrong chain on our bedroom ceiling fan. (Want the light off? Oh no...now the fan's on high. Need to change the fan speed? Eek... now you're in the dark.) They're a much better quality than I expected. They're actually quite heavy-duty pull chains, and they add a bit of fun to the decor. (When you notice them — most of the time, who even things about a ceiling fan pull chain?) As an added bonus, my infant daughter loves staring at them while I change her diaper or jammies. I tap them to make the chains swing, and it's instant fascination, which helps make my job easier!" —LHD

I have long hair that I wear up in a bun or pony tail, and no matter the height of either, this hat fits!! Next to my Dyson vacuum, this has been the greatest addition to my life! This even has two USB ports. Bless.

Promising review: "Where has this thing has been my whole life...?! I've struggled with plugging and unplugging my phone charger and lamp behind my bed for the longest time. My poor husband didn't even get an outlet — he had to charge his phone across the bedroom. This device has been super convenient because now he and I can simply plug our charging cables into the usb outlets along the top of the plug. This completely eliminates having to bother plugging the block up at all. Then, the outlets themselves twist to the sides instead of straight out like a normal outlet. I've got a whole side dedicated for what I need plugged in — a lamp and now a white noise machine. The other side twists to the right, so my husband can plug in whatever he needs. No more cables getting smooshed and bent...no more struggling to plug something in behind the bed. Well done and thanks for making such a smart product! Very convenient." —Amazonaholic

I bought due to us living in our RV after selling our home and waiting for weather to allow us to move up north. We have a few dogs in this small space, ugh, by golly, you walk in the door now and smell fresh-cut lilac, candle style. Most defiantly will order again. Promising review: "We have a toddler and have moved several times since she started getting into things. Every time I'm stuck installing child locks that require hardware or squeezing fingers into tight spots to operate. These are a huge improvement on every front. Install in moments, adhere wonderfully, and the magnet key is a game changer. Not to mention, the ability to disable the lock when you know you're going to be in and out of the cabinet for a bit.
