I’m gonna go out on a limb here, guys. But, I feel like they should work on making their recipes better. Maybe appeal to fresher and local foods, try some more ‘upper scale’ menu items versus the “Denny’s” version of Italian food. I’ve actually worked at 3 Olive Gardens for 3+ years. The majority of their food is made in-house, with the exception of their desserts. In the end, their food is all a variation of the same thing; it’s all pasta with a sauce. The pasta is overcooked, the sauce is watery and flavorless, the salad is made with shitty iceberg lettuce, the soups’ quality can vary location to location. I mean, they obviously know how to cater to a higher-end crowd since they have the ‘growing brands.’ They just don’t want to because they like being the poor man’s Italian restaurant (read: white Americans that doesn’t want any ‘ethnic’ food whatsoever, oh and consistency a la McDonalds).
