My comment didn't show up…anyway, I had said that Tattoo Barbie was never advertised as a Tramp Stamp Barbie. I think this image is just a creation of some older person, maybe a teen, messing around with a Tattoo Barbie.
ew, Barbie was better when i was 5.

One of the links here has some women whining about what Barbie is “teaching” girls. That's ridiculous. First; Barbie is a lump of plastic, and if a lump of plastic is teaching your girl, you are in fact a lousy parent. Second; Barbie, like Dracula, must be invited into your home. If you don't want Barbie “teaching” your girl, don't buy Barbie dolls. If she whines, buy her something else. I've known women who have never owned Barbie dolls and they lived through the experience and went on to lead productive, healthy lives. Finally, to Mattel -if in fact this is true and Barbie is getting a tramp stamp, you must fire and horsewhip the person who came up with this idea. The lower back tattoo is passe, and has become more associated with groupies and “Girls Gone Wild” than with fresh faced young women. I suspect this is a hoax, as I can't see Mattel having Barbie tattooed at all, let alone branded with her man's name.
