I’m in Detroit and I promise you it won’t do well outside of the Grosse Pointe crowd. I already have my local farms and markets that I visit for free-range, organic, grass fed, etc.

Anyone who treated an adult in some of these ways could expect charges or at least for the relationship to end.
Why is it okay to treat children poorly? Discipline should be respectful. Humiliating children just teaches them to bully.

All of these are actually either cute little things, neglectful parenting, and #5’s parents are the worst. Animals will be animals and babies will be babies. You’ve got to be a parent and prevent that!
Thank goodness some of these commenters are child-free.

Bottle propping like that is a fantastic way to choke your child to death.
If for some reason you’re not breastfeeding, suck it up and hold the bottle for your baby. If you can’t? Get a dog.

Utter bull. I never needed a fraction of this stuff.
And the foods to avoid for breastfeeding? Eat what you like. Babies in India and Thailand don’t all cry for a year—spicy food is fine. So are all veggies.
Dairy and soy are the biggest fussiness culprits.
Remember: There is no pipeline from Mom’s stomach to her breast. Food is digested and goes through the pancreas as pure nutrients before milk is made.

What are these parents doing wrong, or what am I doing wrong? My kid certainly doesn’t cost thousands a year. Granted, I breastfed and bought secondhand baby stuff, but still…
