1. It's the big man's birthday today. One year old. Congrats, young George.
2. Let's take a look at the highlights of his first year. Starting from the beginning.
3. We all got very, VERY excited when we saw him for the first time at the end of July last year.
4. And then the amazing family portrait, with the added bonus of dogs.
5. George was on top form for his christening in October.
6. Just look how excited he is to be wearing a dress and surrounding by fawning family members.
7. "Seriously mum, how long does this go on for?"
8. "You can smile all you want, I'm not looking at you till you get me out of this ridiculous outfit."
9. Remember when Will and Kate took him to Australia and New Zealand?
10. And he arrived off the plane all, "The big man is in town, you better pay respect."
11. Young George looked sharp every time he was carried off his plane. Check out his shoes.

15. Whatever the outfit, George continually nailed the right balance of smart and unbearably cute.

17. The trip also involved a hugely important event for international relations – his first play date.
18. The third in line to the throne appeared to enjoy his time in the spotlight.
19. Although it was pretty obvious the prince didn't want to share any of his toys with his new friends.

26. Sydney’s Taronga Zoo even opened a bilby enclosure in his honour during the trip.

28. Thankfully his mum was on hand to point out the little marsupial.

38. Prince George learning to walk was another huge moment for all of us.
