One word: XANAX. I’ve been having flight anxiety after a bad experience, so I can totally relate to this post. But Xanax happened. It makes flying so wonderful, specially when it knocks you out. Last flight I had I fell asleep as soon as the plane reached altitude and woke up 15 mins before landing. The best thing is that there’s almost no side effects (feeling dizzy, nauseous, etc) the only side effect it has on me is like fligh amnesia, I forget everything about the flight itself, which I don’t mind at all. A-MAZING.

THANK YOU! As an adopted daughter the questions that gets me REALLY mad is: “who are your real parents?” followed by “do you look like your father?” (parents are divorced, I’m black mom is white). Seriously? I find it awfully disrespectful towards my parents to ask if they real. And one time this family member, in front of me, told my mother: “she became a good girl”, like there’s some sort of higher “failure” rate for adopted children, like maybe my biological parents were criminals and I had a criminal gene. Gladly, many people I know they don’t even bothered asking anything and treat me no different.
