Put it this way: when you’ve seen people’s bodies ripped to shreds from bombs, it has an effect on you. When you see your best friend’s body split into pieces from some poor sap that got kidnapped and forced to wear a bomb vest, it has a way of unraveling your mind. Ernest Hemingway said it best, “…in modern war, you will dog like a dog for no good reason”

I failed to read any death threats amongst the comments provided under said section. However, I do see that people had suggested that the soldiers get deployed and experience these kinds of things that expose soldiers to deadly situations. You know, deploying like normal soldiers do.
I have to agree with Bravo24. I’m overseas right now and if I heard that one of my fallen buddies was receiving treatment like this, I would be livid. Hell, I don’t even know the fallen soldier and I’m livid. Being called up to do Funeral Detail is one of the most honorable things you can do in the military and to say you’re going to give their family a jacked up flag is deplorable.
If I were their commanding officer, they would be on funeral detail until they understood the meaning of dying for something in which you believe.
