I'm more of a TV person than a movie person, so what helped me during a bout of depression was Green Lantern: the Animated Series. It's only one season but the gorgeous colors and score paired with a message of hope and love, tied together with humor and sadness got me through a lot.…Â
I have been known to put ketchup on KD, but it's pretty uncommon for me because I usually just want to eat it pure. But my grilled cheese is generally in ketchup or mustard or ranch dressing. Grilled cheese is also amazing in spread from In-N-Out (unsurprisingly I'm a lifelong Californian).…Â
I consider myself a night owl because I'd rather stay up late and waking up is hard, however, I prefer to do things (work, classes, appointments) in the morning so that I can have the rest of the day free. I feel like my prime hours are something like 9pm to 11am.
UC Santa Cruz is probably my favorite because it is smack in the middle of a redwood forest, with views of the Pacific Ocean from certain areas. The areas of the University of Salamanca in Spain that I had access to while studying abroad were also really cool because the old city…Â
I love making lists. I also have alarms set for every 15 minutes for two hours before I have to be at work (and since I work in retail that means I have a lot of alarms in my phone...) so that I can keep on track. And I have some of my clocks set a few minutes ahead.
I'm also very much a "no shoes in the house" person too. Also no shoes ever is my preference. It's not a hygiene thing for me so much as I just don't like to have shoes on if I can avoid it.
I'm pretty good about not drunk texting (or at least not embarrassingly drunk texting) but last December I was really drunk and sent a friend a gif of an obese cat in a fairy costume with no explanation, or recollection that I had done such a thing. She thought it was hilarious.
