Katniss isn’t white in the books.
Awesome.
The officer giving the homeless man boots isn’t so great if you read some of the follow-up stories. But this article did make me happy otherwise.
What I’m confused about is if this trending toward positive or negative attention. In the fabric softener one, he seems to be “softened” into Ghandi, suggesting a kind of transition from “dirty” to “clean”, which seems to be negative ad toward him. It’s still really strange and quite terrifying. There’s still a lot of racist sentiment India, and that underlying presence of the caste system. Lighter-skinned Indians are treated in a manner similar to European-Americans.
I’m guessing it was worms? Seriously, celebrities are pretty notorious for neglecting their animals health issues.
In 8 the child obviously isn’t smoking from the bong. The picture is in poor taste, sure, but she’s not actually doing anything other than putting the kids mouth near the bong. I don’t think it’s as bad as the rest of them. Oh, and no, I don’t think there is anything wrong with a parent owning a bong or smoking marijuana. Nor do I think there is anything wrong with a parent have bottles of alcohol in their house and drinking occasionally.
It DOES represent a huge ideological shift. You failed, you lost, we rejected your insane, asinine values and you just can’t deal with it, so in turn you’re choosing to reject reality.
As an animal rights activist it’s so obnoxious to see PETA use misogynistic tactics in their ads. Seriously, cut it out. Nobody likes it.
