Here's Why Matt Czuchry Is Happy Rory Rejected Logan's Proposal On "Gilmore Girls"

"I feel that the show is about 2 strong independent women, and that refusal captures the heart of the show."

Matt Czuchry, who currently plays Cary in The Good Wife, held a Reddit AMA on Monday, May 11.

But of course, so many people also know and love him as Rory Gilmore's boyfriend, Logan, so *naturally* questions about Gilmore Girls came up.

Someone asked about Logan's famous proposal to Rory at the end of Season 7.

(You know, the one that garnered this reaction from Rory...)

    (...And this one from Lorelai.)

And Czuchry said that he's actually happy with how Rory turned Logan down.

"I feel that the show is about 2 strong independent women, and that refusal captures the heart of the show," he wrote.

"And I don't think it was personal to Logan. I just think it was the right decision for Rory regardless of who her boyfriend was."

The actor also went on to discuss other details about working on the set of Gilmore Girls. Here's what else we learned from his AMA:

At one point, there were talks of the show coming back.
