I'm almost 45 years old and I still hang onto my Popple! My partner is several years younger, he doesn't remember these. He feigned interest while I gleefully pulled my Popple out of it's box in storage and turned it into a ball. Did not seem impressed LOL.
Lady Chatterley's Lover by D. H. Lawrence. I am a very patient reader (I've read Jane Eyre several times, plenty of Jane Austin books), but Lady Chatterley's Lover BUMMED me the fuck out. I don't think I even got a quarter of the way through it, far too depressing for me.
This is more of a mystery than true crime, but the disappearance of Brandon Lawson is crazy. The unsettling 911 call, alleged police cover up, the fact that he essentially disappeared into thin air more than 5 years ago never to be seen again, the overall lack of coverage....
Booo! Unless the rest of the new album is nothing like this.... Is this it and room on fire were both really good, but this sucks. Good for them experimenting I guess?
