I always thought Paquin was from Australia and Keanu was from Hawaii.

I congratulate the care-givers of this and the two legged cat from another post for taking on cats that may not look perfect, and may have later health problems and loving them any way.

@ mellie1113 there are doctors who recommend superfluous procedures (unnecessary xrays, extra visits, cat scans) because people have insurance. What do they care, the insurance can take care of a huge chunk of the bill. Yeah, but the patient isn’t rich and still has to pay for 10-30% of a expensive bill. Also, it cuts in to the deductible needed for serious emergencies.

Here’s to hoping US healthcare is now improved. The price of insurance and medical services is ridiculous now, if the industry knows that everyone has to have it we could be royally screwed. I hope Obama has a plan to prevent us from being taken advantage of, even more.
