WTF is this shit? This reads like it was written by some yankee at a PR firm who’s never actually eaten good southern food. Of all the things we deep fry in Texas, they start the list off with beer? It’s called a frito pie, and it’s not what you have in that picture. That looks like the kind of crappy, over done nachos you get up north. Likewise, while there are chicken and waffles in that picture, that’s not what anyone who’s actually had that dish would think of (and it’s not a real southern food anyway). Similar problems throughout the list, and the psudo-southern accent in the writing is awful. Lastly, idk wtf that last pic is, but it’s not moonshine and no one is “jealous” of real moonshine if they’ve ever had it.
Nitpick: Stoormtroopers and the Imperial Army are not the same thing. Imperial army generally wore grey armor with open faced helmets (e.g. the AT-ST drivers). Stormtroopers wore their iconic white armor, while ST officers wore either armor or an all black uniform.
Apparently you don’t like star wars as much as the next nerd.
” he just made a really stupid space action movie and stuffed Star Trek characters into it, that’s what he’ll do here too” FTFY
Beyond that, Vader caught his wrist from below, with an upstroke. No amount of crossguard would help that
It’s a good thing no one cares what you think.
Not the same thing at all. Padame was a fully formed, complete character, and Anakin had already fallen to the dark side when she died. She was an important part of his character development, but she was more than just a plot device.
I love it when they turn good books into good movies, but I don’t read children’s books, so I guess I’m SOL here.
On Windows, in addition to alt +tab you can also scroll through open windows with the Windows key by hitting Win +tab. It is functionally the same, but includes a fancy 3D effect of all of your open windows.
#13: They should just change it to 0118999881999119725-3
Coincidentally, the Duck Dynasty guy is the only one whose controversial behavior did not include criminal activity or death.
Next time try actually reading the article, idiot.
I love how any time there’s an article about casual racism, there are people who rush in to explain how it’s actually offensive to white people to talk about this stuff, or that PoC can be racist too. Here’s a hint: if it makes you uncomfortable to read about this, imagine how it must be to actually live it.
If you don’t understand why these types of statements carry a completely different connotation coming from a white person as opposed to a POC, you’re part of the problem. Here’s the best part though: nowhere in the article does it state that these statements are coming from white people. You’re entire worldview is so white-centric that you see an article about racism directed at POC and invent anti-white racism in the article. The only reason the term white people is used in some of the statements is because that’s the way it happens in the real world. No one ever ask a well spoken black person why they “talk just like an Asian”.
Vikings are not a race or ethnicity, and the term viking is not a racial slur. It specifically refers to old-norse speaking seafarers during a specific time period. If the name of the team was a slur against Scandinavian people with the same logo, then it would be comparable.
Then you are beginning to understand how offensive the actual mascot is.
